Hey buddy Thankyou for the comment yeah the teng tools torque wrenches are really good and they pass calibration every 6 months so can’t complain :) Thankyou matey once I saw the box in this colour I couldn’t not buy it
That’s really cool matey Thankyou so much for the compliment on my box :) if you wanna chat at any point or struggling with your day to day job please message me on instagram @thevwmechanic_official I help a lot of apprentices get thru their training :)
Try some of those Snap On quick detach extensions for 3/8" and 1/4" drive. Attach socket like an air hose. Those extensions don't let go and you don't lose the 10mm.
I would just recommend getting the proper Milwaukee batteries. All the aftermarket ones I have tried have been rubbish in comparison. The 12v Dewalt bit driver you have, with just need some grease inside, and if they do stop working or smoking, stop using it straight away, don't hold the trigger, they at that point normally need just the carbon brushes changing, which are cheap to change.
Yeah I’ve learnt the hard way about the batteries haha but thanks….and the dewalt bit driver has been apart and greased many times it’s kinda of at the end of its life its done me proud tho in all kinds of situations and weather
Hi there…. Nice insight on what tools to obtain.. Interesting to learn you don’t rate the Snap-on hose clamp pliers as I was gonna purchase a set.. Can you share the brand of your alternative set please..? Many thanks
Hey many thanks for your update, I kept trying to pause the video but couldn’t make out the brand. Have heard of Silverline, so will investigate this further. Thanks again & best of luck to you & with the channel 👍.
What brand are the looks like 1/2 inch stubby impact splines sockets? In the last tour you said the brands of most stuff, not so much in this one, so just wondering. That colour toolbox is really nice. And your layout has got way better, seems like a lot more in each draw now. Optimising the space.
They are an eBay job my good sir nothing crazy if they were a brand people would recognise I would say it matey and thankyou so much it’s nicer to have the depth and space in this tool box
As a former VW tech, I loved the Mac RBRT allen, torx and triple squares, always rounding those Allen’s!
Nightmare aren’t they…thanks for the comment buddy :)
I think that is the best color box I’ve ever seen ! Well done !
Thankyou so much I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it 🥰

Love the colour of that box! I almost bought the masters version of it off the R&R truck. Went for grey with black trim in the end!
@Pearson0110 they do so many mega colours don’t they. I just couldn’t stop looking at this one
Magnetic Impact sockets are fun. And how about some Knipex pliers or Vessel screwdrivers or Stahville wrenches?
My snap on pliers screwdrivers and spanner’s I’ve had for years and cost me a fortune lol I don’t wanna buy em again haha
Excellent video, buddy! Straight to the point without wasting time.
Thankyou buddy it’s how I like to do most of my videos as people just want the point and it getting to quickly 😂
Currently an apprentice at a Hyundai dealer, looking to get to a VW dealer. Nice vid, awesome box!

Who makes that alignment tool? I hate rear adjustments on VW/Audi because of where the adjustment is.

Hey thanks for the message and I appreciate the feedback and the hose clamp pliers that work for me are a cheap pair from a company called silver line
