This concert was the first time I saw soundgarden perform. Was great watching all the artists perform last night at the Chris Cornell Tribute at the Forum. RIP CHRIS!!!
I strongly disagree. Reznor is amazing and has depth, but Cornell had depth and range. He was a great vocalist and more importantly a phenomenal songwriter. To go from Superunknown to Temple of the Dog to his last masterpiece Higher Truth is a creative journey. He had zero limits on the types of emotions and music he could create. Also, I've seen both of them live and Cornell's solo performances were magical...pure magic. The variety in his music is something truly special, from Dead Wishes to Slaves & Bulldozers...these songs are massively different yet he somehow pulls it off.
Ummm..."a better singer". I'm sure Trent and most of NIN's fans would give that award to C.C. A "better and more innovative musician" ...that honor would go to Trent but then again different strokes, different folks, etc.
Chris Cornell has to be the greatest musician of this generation. Such variety and range, no one came close.
Rest In Peace! My Brotha

@@jamesbarnett527 Are you out of your fucking mind man? Chris is a fucking beast, Trent didn't have a chance with his jealous ass.
Completely different singers, why a comparison?

they are both good but reznor was musically a genius and as a creator... chris was amazing as a singer.
