Pakistani ports like Gwadar and Karachi have defaulted on their freight bills due to lack of foreign exchange long before the Govt introduced austerity measures to comply with IMF bail out requisites. Other than remittances, there is no Forex influx into Pakistan and their trade deficit is the highest it has ever been in their history. I have no idea if they’ll ever be able to get out of this quagmire. To repay one loan, they have to get another. Even their freight transport cost is unmanageable because of lack of electrification and global oil shortage and rising crude oil prices.

What is the objective basis behind the conclusion that BJP is the 'only chance'? And what exactly has Aum Shanti got to do with the discussion? I am a comfortable Hindu & don't want my spirituality corrupted by bigotry. Personal Beliefs has NO place in Public governance. Modi has done a good practical job while some of the religious radicalism around him is concerning. Biggest reason for India's success is the solid foundation of democracy & education laid out by leaders long before Modi was born (hint - it was not the BJP) along with opportune globalization. No doubt Congress has messed up too. Modi does deserve credit for fast tracking growth that came at an opportune time. Let us be issue based instead of ganging up like pack animals. Laughing off others like Aam Aadmi party, or anyone, with gaslit information engineering is unpatriotic, and disservice to the people. Opposition getting arrested is a super scary reminder of thug autocracy that has screwed up Russia and others. The fact that Pakistani's are being retrospective with an open mind, as with this blog, impresses me that they are working towards progress; while I am afraid BJP may be doing the opposite picking up religious bigotry that will take us backwards asides being immoral and dangerous! Satya Meva Jayate! Jai Hind, and Jai Insaaniyat!
