Omg, the memories, back in the 70’s we hand embroidered our jean jackets. I made nice money doing it. I am loving the Black Bear and I totally get the analogy. Another great video, 👍🏾💯Also, got my patch today. Thank you very much.
When you have a moment e mail me your address so I can forward it to heat transfer warehouse so they can send you your prize. Adubbproductions@gmail.com
What size and type needle did you use for this denim? Also awesome trick on the sizing for the small hoop and changing the text colors to get rid of having to cut. Thank you
I have been thinking about doing this to my Blue jean Jacket ! This video is right on time for me, I think it is a Excellent ideal! Loving your videos!
Thanks again for your time making this video, your the only embroidery video host that I watch because you keep it real, I've seen that you have a ricoma, but you still include your basic machines, keep up the great work and thank you
When you change colors, don't pull it out from the top. Clip it off the top spool and pull it out from the needle, downward . That's whats making that scrunch up. I had to learn the hard way.!
Thanks for sharing the video, it is amazing! I have a question that when you embroidered you did not remove the back of your shirt out of the zone, how did you prevent it from stitching together, and also when it comes to embroidering on pockets what do we use to prevent from stitching together, appreciate!
Awesome Job!👏🏽 Thanks! I have That EXACT SAME Levi Denim Jean Jacket, I purchased YEARS ago! You have now given Me Confidence to use My Brother LB 7000 & Embroider My Name, "Add Love Productions!™️❤ Doing so Today!🥰
Could you post a video on how you would make the letters thicker? Even though I use a different digitizing program it should be similar I could figure out how to do it on my program after watching you do it on yours.?
The thickness of fonts that are built into the program can’t really be adjusted, you can adjust the pull compensation and that might make it a little thicker but if you want thicker text that is spaced out correctly your best bet would be to physically create thicker text. Like manually, line by line.
The only bad idea is one that isn’t tried 😊. It turned out great. I was wondering, could you have tried it out on a scrap piece of denim, or were you worried about the extra material from the jacket messing it up?
adubb hows it going ? Which stabilizing paper do you use for crewnecks/sweaters and which stabilizing paper do you use for t shirts? also i keep getting wrinkles right next to my design could that be form the wrong paper? also if you have any videos that can help me out with positioning my clothing .. thanks
Allan: what was the plan B, in case it got screwed up? Cover it up with another (larger) picture? I'm sure it will happen to me, sooner or later. What do you do with a screwed up embroidery on an expensive item which you can't/won't throw away? I've heard mentioned somewhere a sort of an electrical shaver which one can use to 'shave off' the stitched pattern. Comment? Great job on the channel.
Yes. There is a shaver that will make it significantly easier to get the stitches out of the jacket so you can try again. It works. However what I suggest is that you embroider on scrap fabric till you get it right then embroider on the garment.
I did one a couple weeks ago n the damn hoop was getting on my nerves so I took some old jeans, cut them out n embroidered on the cut up then sewed to the jean jacket
Great content video. When you designed your logo, did you play back the stitch jumps prior to this video upload? And, did you check your stitch density numbers for both underlay and overlay of your embroidery text? I'm still a newbie at this but I do know after watching so many RUclips videos that digitizing and looking for detail has a lot to do with the stitch order and the density of your stitch. Overall, I really like your videos. Keep up the good work.
Yes. I always play it back. That way you can see if the stitching order makes sense. Sometimes you can make it easier by switching up the order. Your on the right track. You know what your talking about.
You can’t. You can only use the built in fonts on the unit if only using your SE. if you have a computer with digitizing software you can use all the fonts on your computer and download now fonts from font websites to use in your designs and export those designs to you se via usb flash drive. Hope that helps.
@@adubbproductions okay I see. So what if my design has a font already would the embroidery machine embroider exactly how it’s spelled ? Example say a design is already in a font style would the machine stitch it exactly how it appears ?
Chroma Luxe. Yes that is a program I use to digitize. Here is my Ricoma Affiliate link Ricoma SHOP link to look into getting the software. I also have a few videos demonstrating how to use the software. shop.ricoma.com?referral=allan-wade

🙏🏾🙌🏾 thank you.
Do you have to use a different type of needle for thicker materials, like denim?
@@barbaraprideaux8280 I use a 14 or 16 for denim. You could use 18 if very thick denim or duck cloth. Just make sure it an embroidery needle .
