I just installed a EMG gary holt set with 1 volume and 1 switch in an Ibanez RG. Works perfectly fine. It was the stock configuration of the Schecter V.
Like as in Jazz music. Many people found out that the pickup also sounds great with an overdrive. It's just a legendary Seymour Duncan pickup that was originally ascribed for jazz music.
@@loknloll That's as much as I've ever heard about it, except for the overdrive being single most important step for the original design regarding the EQ being set up for jazz to working well with a fat overdrive without it becoming too woofy or flabby. The first problem was the bogus shade of Ronald McDonald red that EMG never seemed to think twice about....and then to not have push/pull pot for the splittable pickup
So earlier this year I bought a Dimebag tribute guitar from Gary Holt, built by Tom Smith. Had Kent over and he helped me put in some pickups in it.
❤️🤘🏻
Put the red EMGs to Canibalismo
Ola, very cool guitar... what's the approximate weight... I own the Washburn Dime 3's, I like the weight on the heavy side for attack.
