Hi Ola. I turned 40 in January 2019. I saved 5 years for my dream guitar, even though I was just a home player .. Buy the guitar that makes you feel good, even if it pays. your quality of life improved significantly, although the guitar with your purchase, there was no sense..i am so glad to take a riff on my guitar witch is rare and expensive, only a couple relationship has suffered from my love of my guitar, but I have found a solution to my new energy.
"I would never spend that kind of money on a guitar" as he makes a quick glance at her for even the slightest nod of approval that he could. :D
@juna wood You can tell the chemistry between couples typically. If they act normal around each other and seem happy that's a dead giveaway that they're a real couple. Especially if they've been dating a while. Love is a slow burning flame, not an intense fire.

Happy bday sir. Nice choice of guitar. I’m 35 and as I get older I’ve learned to appreciate other style guitars besides the “metal” models. I find myself playing my Mexican strat a lot more often that my dad bought me for my 16th bday. It’s inspiring to switch it up.

strats are overlooked because they are so "popular" and are used a lot by pop players, but they are amazing guitars, great resonance, great versatility, weight, shape, etc. in reality its a great guitar.

Bro, I watch your stuff all the time and but have never seen where you actually bought your Strat. The alternative ending made my day. Well done and right on for us September birthday's.
It’s so crazy when I buy a new guitar I’m like “we can’t afford this” then my wife is like but you want it. Long story short, that’s when you know your wife loves you, when you get to have several $1500+ guitars around. Every time I pick them up I know that she knows I appreciate it, I appreciate having guitars that inspire me and remind me of her.

❤️ Happy Birthday, Ola. I still buying remember my first Fender CS. At the store they took my a lot of money, BUT they took also my mind🤣 so i was so confused to pay for it... My second SC - 64' heavy relic - was a hard process....Should i spent again so much money...🤔 it was a hard time and took at least TWO years to pick it from the shop - it was way more expensive and i had not the money at that time for guitars....but it hurts, when you feel tis IS the right one. i wrote down the serial number and prayed to god, that no one will pick "my beauty" in the following month. Exact 1/2 year before my 40th birthday i went to the git-shop again. Pockets full of money a a big hope in my heart that she is still there. GuitarGod had a fantastic day and all my dreams come true. She was still there, it got it and still in love with it even 5 years later and every time i pick her up, I fell the same luck and inner feelings as the day I can get her. What a deep inner friendship. No one else gets "it" but you do. Wish you all the best to get "her", Harry👋🏻
I live in California and there are many guitar stores near me. These guitar shopping videos are pretty much men and my wife every few months ;) God bless the guitar wives for sharing our guitar addictions. :)

A HSS Solar would be great. That's the way my Jackson SL1 and a couple of my DK2s are and I love 'em!

Me neither, but sometimes I am very satisfied even with 300$ model..and later home if it's needed I experiment with soldering different capacitors and resistors for better sound, enjoy in it..
carpe diem oh sure i got my schecter some lance sensor pickups and i really love how it sounds, but still im a trying to save for another guitar, a les paul.

I've got recently black Les Paul SX, copy, but it's really good, I bought it very cheap, some dude needed money badly and gave me that guitar + smaller amp (10w) + pedal Boss DS-2 turbo distortion, and bag, belt and tuner, all that together for 200$, everything in excellent condition, it was more than awesome deal for me ..I have also a little modification to do with it, love it 😁
Because of such a things every now and then, I can't collect enough money for some good expensive guitar

It feels like roasted maple is actually another way to cheap out guitar production. It is more work and is more money involved to store wood until it is dry than cooking fresh maple wood in an autoclave.
I actually know some guitars with roasted necks that have problems with stability. The truss rod has to get adjusted a lot (and I mean a lot), they shrink in dry enviroment, causing frett sprout.
This goes up to high priced MusicMan guitars and basses, especially the early production run of instruments when roasted maple necks got into series production.
Yeah seems like another gimmick.

You are definitely getting old man! When you go out shopping for a new guitar or gear, you´ve got the money in your pocket, but you decide is better not to spend the buck... it's a sign of aging. The same thing happened to me last time I went to the guitar store and walked out of there empty handed. I´m 44 years old by the way. Cheers Ola!!

Didn't try any of the other PRS guitars? :O I bought a Custom 24 in mint condition for less than 2k man, that guitar is just sick, same as my Mayones Legend V22. Whenever my friends come home they just can't put them down...

Huh, didn't know 4sound had shops in Sweden as well. I think they're down to one physical shop in DK, after a few closed a short while ago.
I imagine Thomann nicked most of the Nordic customers from local shops.
I live a short walk from the 4sound in Sundsvall. I don't know how well they're doing in Sweden, but I do know the 4sound in Umeå shut down a few years back.
Thomann is convenient but it does make life difficult for local shops, yeah.
There is a few in Norway aswell.

These days I usually try out 100s of guitars before I get that incredible guitar. My last incredible buy was my 93 Gibson M-III ebony. Lots of flaws that needed a tech to put right but now she is stunning and sounds amazing. I also bought a case queen '90 floral Jem. You can see the cloth weave in the material and contrary to what most people think, ALL the original Florals have the cloth material fabric and none were painted. They stopped production when they no longer could buy the material. If I was looking to buy a strat the Sambora is the strat for me. Loved the flat radius and neck profile. They are really hard to find though!

it has humbucker but single coils can do the job ! i prefer single coils for precision and different dynamic like 80's reckords -live stage of John Norum/Malmsteen/impellitteri.... Strat/telecaster/P90 LP-SG etc...single coils can sound very heavy for many styles of hard/metal/thrash/down tuning... Just need a good amp , an overdrive -boost .
PRS headstock on a fender body always looked super wrong for me.
