One of the greatest chase scenes ever. F355 driven by Cage vs. H1 driven by Connery through the streets of San Francisco. As a 90's kid this was peak action movie for me.
Totally in accordance with these comments, perfect chase scene, builds on the Dirty Harry and Bullit Chases. When i played the Computer Game "DRIVER" in San Fransisco I was channeling the CAGE.
This might be the first time I've seen Michael Bay's style complimented. Not that I'm complaining or I disagree, it's just different from what people usually say.
Are you serious? There is so much shaky cam I literally want to vomit watching this, continuity is all fucked, we can see the ramps after the jumps, Goodspeed's car goes from damaged to new to damaged and that fucking obvious model tramway...!
kayEnt3rtainm3nt this has pure action on of Bay’s good movies not like Transformers Honestly I would love to have another Michael Bay film with Nicholas Cage or Will Smith
@@kayEnt3rtainm3nt This was what Bay should have been throughout his career. Good actors, decent plot, and realistic action. Plenty of explosions, but this and Bad Boys should have been the norm.
Connery was one of those actors who could take an underwhelming line of dialogue and make it remarkable with great delivery. He often outshined the characters he portrayed, which may have annoyed him to some extent, as someone who took the job seriously, but we all love it. And we always will.

Possibly the best ever advertisement for Ferrari.

"Oh well why not" -- the 90s version of "YOLO".
love it that he answers the phone during the chase

Arguably the best car chase scene in the history of motion pictures!!
Surely one of the best but I think Ronin’s car chase is better

the Ferrari is amazing in this chase

I loved this scene. The Ferrari had such power roaring down the streets and the Hummer wasn’t too bad either.
Too bad the Ferrari 355 was fake it was a kit car replica build on a Pontiac Fiero
You expect the studio to actually destroy a rear F355 ? The real one was use for the chase and smashing thru the glass window but thats about it
