Simbine was flying!!! He need to start running the 200m too.
TRUE
I am glad that you commented on SIMBINE. It is my assertion that he bears such resemblance to the great NELSON MANDELA, when he, Mandela, was young and a boxer. I, until now, thought of the orthography of his name as SABINE. I like his contagious personality with that smile that is both charming and self-deprecating. If ever the need to re-represent the life of Mandela on thee big screen should ever present itself, SIMBINE should play that role. The athletes of African blood, in general, are spectacular. They have been engineered for greatness. I wish that I could be like any of them.
He's an inspiration to the young athletes in SA, the kids in athletics at schools adore him❤️
Simbini is flying
And needs to work on his strides...
Personally i think the 200m distance is the best sprinting distance. it's essentially near peak speed held for some duration. 300m and you see a dramatic drop off in speed towards the end, 200m is flat out the whole way.
100 m is over too quickly , 150-200m allows for some interesting racing
Nah, 60 & 100m acually shows your Max speed
nah 100m is too far professionals even said it no one can hold their 100% for the full 100m , 60m is too short though it’s definitely in between there i’d say around 75 or 80
hell nah u decelerate no matter how strong your legs are in the 200m
@@djpetruofficial8340 not at all
Nah, it all scales up really well. 100m guys are running 9's. 200m is in the 19's. 400m is 43's. It starts to take a bit of a drop up to 800 as it climbs to 1:40 (still that's two 50 second 400's!) but then they can do a mile in the 3:40's (that's 55-56 seconds/400). And it stays pretty ridiculous up to the marathon, those dudes average 2:55 or so/km or 4:40/mile. But still, even with the longer races, the 400 is insane. They literally are running about 1.5 seconds slower per 100 than the open 100. That makes my brain and legs hurt just thinking about it!
race starts at 5:45
So good to see South Africa doing well in this.
Bro
Me too
Spiritual Warrior South Africa is a quiet storm when it comes to the area of speed demons. They are slept on by the track and field community.
Congratulations USA
What a performance from South Africa's
Put this great event in the Olympics!
All relay events
*4x100m*
4x200m
*4x400m*
4x800m
4x1500m
4x1 mile
The events in bold are in the Olympics and IAAF WC.
@@r.a.6459 wait why would you have a 4x1500 and a 4xMile?
@@r.a.6459 4*800 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that track must be huge.
@@Groove23 they only do it on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (Gesamtstrecke)
Now I’d like to see a US team of:
1. Bromel
2. Norman
3. Laird
4. Lyles
What about Matthew bolling?
@@asifalphakennybody8865 what about him??
@@ashiasnow8749 he should be their he’s arguably faster than laird
@@asifalphakennybody8865 laird is faster now..did you see his latest outdoor 200m time?
@@sgwithaslatt true but Matthew bolling is a fierce competitor to laird and even beat him in the most recent indoor 200 metre
The commentator though pronouncing the Bahamian🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine a team of prime Powell, weir, Blake & Bolt in this race ⚡
Just imagine boy
Imagine a team of prime Gatlin, Gay, Spearmon, and Dix racing them. That's a fast matchup
@@kennethcoleman1378
Fred Kerley, Walter Dix, Michael Johnson and Noah Lyles would decimate all in this format.
@@jasonlommen4769fck to the no😭😭😭😭
@@jasonlommen4769 Lose Fred Kerley (19.76) and add Erriyon Knighton (19.48) to this list because he is faster than Kerley in the 200m.
The 200m is exciting 🤩⚡️🥇
Imagine a team of Knighton, Bednerick, Lyels and perhaps Kelly or Norman as their lead off
In general, the baton passing was not good.
The 4x2 really is the ultimate relay,
4x4
It’s cool but 4x4 is way better
4x4
4x4 is the most hype event possible in any level of competition fast but so much room for error that anything can happen
@@shanonfernando1326 Think that’s cool, try the DMR in indoor track. That’s really fun for us distance runners.
Well Done SA 👏✔
the last runner for the US ran like he had a cramp lol.
🙌🙌South Africa, I'm so proud. The up and coming athletes are watching and WHAT AN INSPIRATION 😊WOW. well done 👍
200m & Kenya get 4th??!!! Yooo we're coming 😂
For sho 😂😂
Yes, of course 🙌
Would have loved to see Bolt in this even!!
4x200m should be in the World Champs fr.
Honestly it should. Put Lyles on anchor with Christian Coleman lead-off. Those two right there will give you solid low times. Add in Michael Norman or Ronnie Baker and that’s already Gold medal team. I did several 4x200s and 4x4s in indoor track in HS and loved it, I wasn’t great at either, but for all intents and purposes, I was a distance guy. I loved the DMR. Often ran the 1200 meter or 400 meter leg.
Lyles
Knighton
Bernarek
Laird
(Atleast as of right now)
this is the real relay .its ultimate I enjoy it more than that of 1.*400
Sooooooo why can't we get this race more and in the Olympics 😒
USA should've got Norman to run in this since he's a specialist 200m runner
USA ! YES !
Bahamas would have been on top 3 if they haven't dropped it. For sure
Yea bahamas has great runners
What is bahamas
I thought he first said "The Bohemians".
I was.......wtf.
Y'all have to remember this is 2019 lol
Odhiambo ran a good race for kenya, the third guy should do more next time.
What massive performance from SA❤
It's the" Bahu ... Baha... bama... can you say that for me " from the female commentator 😂😂
I wish I could've seen a quartet consisting of Norman, Lyles, Gay, and Spearmon. Not at this meet, but in general.
Man I just found out about Norman's 9.86 last July...got DAYUMMMMM
@@efisgpr yeah he's probably the athlete im most looking forward to for Tokyo
Bro you know Gay and Spearmon are basically retired right?? I don’t think Spearmon even ran a single race in 2019
@@myleswatts8062 Of course. Perhaps I should've said "in their primes". Thought that went without saying.
@@301.allday Ah gotcha yeah that would have been a dream 4x2 team for the US
Big up Team SA
I'm South African and heck I'm proud of those boys.. I mean, did u see how the anchor chased down the American? 30m more, he would've won... BUT! BUT... For USA to win after being that far behind.. Was magical to watch... Wow
Last leg, simbine lit up the south Africa 🇿🇦
The USA is dominant once again!
not for long
@@TheSupergirl_25Keep coping
My fav Belcher!!!

nanzo ke south africa makhesto ....going guys
Before video start....Nigeria is my favorite....👈
Good job 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
it seems that some of the athlete doesn't know how to pass baton...
Kenya 🇰🇪
Norwood ate up that curve 😎
5:49
USA 3rd leg closed that gap
For world class sprinters, the baton passes were a joke...
😭so nervous for my first event on Wednesday bruh
where is Lyles
I am so mad to see south afraica losing ,the last runner of usa is basically trash it feels so upset to not being able to see south africa outruns him by the goal
Oh yes i remember this relay at school... Dont know why they dont have this race often or even i. Olympic
Maybe it's too difficult to find consistent athletes to compete in a 4x200. Most sprinters for each country are already competing for 100m, 200m and 4x100 so having them also do 4x200 would be a lot.
@@cptbusstop92 True, But a lot used to double or triple in the Olympics.
The 3rd runner for the Bahamas did not secure the baton. It was in his hand, and he did not execute.
... even though; it would become a Learning Curve.
. @least eim Gap one person...
Simbine didn't make a good button exchange, he hadn't accelerated enough. I believe they were going to win
Disaster passing of the batton both for male and female runners. What's the difficult in there? 🤔😱
@5:14 who is Tony Belcher lmao you mean CHRISTOPHER Belcher smh these announcers sometimes.
3:37
*COLEMAN*
*NORMAN*
*BOLING*
*LYLES*
win by 20+m
I’d easily swap Boling with Laird
You all forget about Ronnie Baker lol. Boling is not even in the conversation right now.
Why this event doesnt add to olympics😑😑

Why are the 200m handovers soooo bad
Why they so slow
How tf does this work?!
Since when we have 4x200 race?
Arowolo Emmanuel..FEGO PRODUCT❤️
Am I the only one confused by this race
If South Africa didn't botch that last changeover they could've won
They did very well though
If the U.S. didn't have their C team competing, though....
I've noticed that the Chinese athletes are ignored by the other relay athletes in both men's and women's races even when the Chinese girls fluked their way into the 2019 World Relays silver. And while the other teams all join in for the group team photos post-race, the Chinese never do. Same at Doha.
Fine with me, but I wonder why that is?
Because it’s China and China is a communist country. Americans, and others, don’t do well around people that are directly in-line with China, the government.
