- Everyone has their own story about the chair they learned to ski on. In this episode, Marcus returns to his roots on the Mid-Gad chair at Snowbird. To some, Mid-Gad might be considered the bunny hill, but others know a little known secret. Follow along as Marcus picks his way down what might be the most technical terrain in the country, with newcomer and superstar Sara Jane Mikell.

Mid Gad is one of my favorite spots to take young racers and running into Marcus last year filming in Get Serious Chutes was awesome! Seeing myself and our Devo's in a Return of the Turn film is so cool!!!!! You hit it out of the park with this episode Marcus! As a coach taking kids down something like the rope in Get Serious and watching their faces as they conquer their fears doesn't get any better than that!
Awesome again!!! Great skiing is being able to ski in any terrain at all conditions, even if they put a sling out to catch Marcus (2:52), LOL!
I didn't really get the chance to learn to ski well until I was 30. I spent many hours riding Wilber. Short lines, and pushed my skills to the limit at the time. I probably learned more on that chair then anywhere else.

I can't believe I used to ski that fast in the cutes without a helmet. If you are currently not wearing one, please wear a helmet.
been at snowbird for two years now and never touched that lift?! Definitely checking it this szn.
Tips up to cross over those little ropes that were put in to stop people from using certain areas but they are level with the snow now!
That rope is to lower over a scree field when there is less snow, not stop anyone.

I am thinking the Cochise 106 which had the burnt orange color top sheet. You get a good look when he makes the kick turn to reverse direction in the chute.

Highly exaggerated, questionable vertical, many-many-many hidden rocks, lots of nice editing makes it look better than it is. All it lacks is some green screen. He's right, it is where the racers train.
You find all those rocks side slipping down?
Boring.
