Im still shocked as a coach myself more coaches dont apply your mechanical teachings to what they do. Im a former baseball player and we HAVE to study our swings and the fundamentals of it to maximize our hitting potential. But it kills me that you guys take out the hard part for coaches and yet they spend more time on pointless drills than to study the kinetics and mechanics of their QBs especially at the HS level. You always hear, "I dont change their throwing motion!" Yet you look at Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan and even Tom Brady and their are blatant differences from their college mechanics to their early NFL mechanics to now. This stuff matters! Keep up the great work guys!
Thank you for your the response. I suggest you to make 2 more videos 1) Increase speed and energy in the football 2) How to throw a football while running on scrambling
Hey Greg! Shoot me an email morey@yourperformancelab.com. Would be happy to connect for a call and go over drills for heel recovery as well as medicine ball throws
I have this problem when I throw is that I can't coordinate the release time, so like when I'm throwing a baseball or a stone, I release too late and the ball hits the floor 3 feet in front of me.
I'm confused at how you're explaining the mechanics of the throw at the end of the eccentric. You're showing it almost as if you don't want any external rotation of the shoulder happening behind the head. As if your wrist is in line with your ear and never past that. But that will reduce the vector magnitude and range of motion to produce more torque. So wouldnt avoiding bringing the shoulder through hyper external rotation be taking some velocity off off the ball? And therefore make even shorter throws require you to bring more of your body into the throw, since your new maximum power output is now reduce from avoiding the hyper external rotation? Any response is appreciated
I am a fan of creating external rotation in the shoulder but as the hand gets behind the head the amount of range of motion in the shoulder is limited as the hand comes closer to the midline. Keeping the ball further away from the midline i.e. not behind the head, allows the quarterback to achieve more external rotation in the shoulder and therefore achieve a better release and more force during the throw.

I have made a video when throwing on the run. What do you mean increase speed and energy in the football?
This channel is so underrated yall deserve more likes
Appreciate it 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi,do you have any videos on medinceball throws for strenght n power?

You have any solutions for qbs that have a wind up when they throw. I get to the “L” perfectly but I wind up
What do you mean wind up? Like you lower the ball down?
Performance Lab of California yes
Jared Richardson and you would like to just lift the ball up sooner?
Performance Lab of California yes, and eliminate the wind up, to make my release quicker

Ovadya Rachman keep your elbow and wrist up..
