I got so many comments from you guys wanting four light strips on your helmet, but powered by one controller because you didn't like the bulk of two controllers. So, for the past 6 months, I've been working on a design that looks dope and fits on as many different helmets as possible. I went through several design iterations and test fitted them on a wide variety of helmets until I settled on this new EVO kit. The wiring length was chosen to minimize excess bulk, and the diameter was slightly reduced as well from previous kits. I even designed a custom molded splitter (where 1 cable splits into two) so it would be waterproof. This one feature was incredibly tricky to manufacture because I made the mold as small as physically possible to reduce bulk. I hope you guys like the end result!

The diameter of the connectors are greater than the width of the spoiler gap. It could only fit the way I showed.
I ordered this kit from you for a Bell Qualifier DLX with Mips and a Sena 10S headset attached. Looking forward to the install. Should ship tomorrow 04/21/20!
04/28/20- Received the light kit today and installed onto the helmet. Very happy with this purchase. I feel like this kit is very high quality and it’s almost like this style was made for the lines and curves of my helmet. I used masking tape to get the look I wanted on my helmet and then peeled and sticks the light strips to the helmet. There are 4 functions to the lights. Solid, slow blink, medium flash and then fast flash. I can’t use the flash modes in my state but if you’re riding at night these are definitely going to get you “noticed” by everyone. The battery pack does emit a high pitched whine but when you’re on the bike the wind and road and motor noise from the bike will drown out the whine. I plan on leaving a positive review on Lightmode website. So happy and posting to a motorcycle forum I belong to!

This is perfect. Probably just before this came out I got the dual Neutrons Grid in purple and aqua for my TSG Pass DHS helmet. Get compliments all the time. Now I can have 4 lights on my Gotway Monster and one discreet controller. Can't wait.

I have this exact helmet, best helmet I've had in every facet. I'd have trouble sticking anything to it but I appreciate that the light design matches the lines on the helmet for the most part.

Will be a good idea for a smaller controller and the connector wires should be ribbon type so they cans be stoked to the surface
As a bike rider it is still funny as hell to see people putting their gloves on BEFORE the helmet haha

@@350vgarcia Man, if these things can shoot 4k video the same way $150 cell phones can I'm in. Look at something like the Nokia 4.2 32GB of storage, expandable to over 300GB. 2x 13MP rear cameras Or the Galaxy A10e that retains features like edge to edge screen and biometrics.
It doesn't matter if I spend $10k on a phone. That won't make the feature set gained here for $150 worth the money. For the same $150 you could buy a legitimately nice phone. With pretty much all the bells and whistles the flagships have... That's even ignoring the used/refurb market.

Anything electronics wise that can be done to reduce the size of the controller so that it can be installed on the back interior of the helmet? Maybe a mod to the back of the cushions could have a U shaped gap to insert a smaller controller for a better stealth mod? Then maybe running the wires on a flat wire concept instead of a rounded wire would allow you to have the cables run smooth along the surface and maybe even also stick to the helmet surface. This is so awesome thank you Lightmode!

Noted, thanks for your feedback. You can't power those 4 lights on one controller, though - it would be too dim. The surface area of the 2 Grid and 2 Blade lights is too much for one controller. The Grid and Blade design would have to be modified.

I just got my kit in the mail today. I will say 100% worth the buck. Rechargeable battery, water resistant, extension cables, charging wire, warranty, ect. Hell yeah! Compared to the crappy $20 kits I got off of Amazon(that fell apart after 2 rides) there is a definitely a huge quality difference. Even thinking about buying a 2nd set for my boyfriend to match with me

Hey Lightmode my name is Baji/Bryan i watched this video and decided to get the light strips over shredlights on my board because people focus on eye level more. I drive a fiik big daddy since 2013 and decided to get the light because i see myself commuting between cities in Ontario. Im going to be getting 3 solar panels and a converter to recharge my 12ah board in 1.5 hours. Thanks to introducing me to the double light strip. I like red because of the orange tone to it. And its more uniform with the board. And looks more legit. 230 in total but i think the way its designed is worth it. Cant wait to get it. Cheers and hope you keep making more videos

Plug doesn't fit through the spoiler gap. It could only go in the way I did it.

Just received the Neutron S Evo kit in red and installed it on my new Shoei X-14. Debated for a while between white or red, but now I see either one would have been a win. I'll be riding with it around Chicago, IL once the weather warms up.

Choose one that fits your head shape first and foremost. Requires trying on several at a local shop.
You can check out videos by fortnine. They make great gear reviews, suggestions and guides.
Not saying it’s a bad thing but it sounds like you’re already focused on fashion while riding. Just wear gear of course that matches, but make sure you buy ventilated gear so you’re not too hot while riding. Never ride squid, keep in mind most people drive ridiculous, and enjoy man! Good luck
If you have a gear shop near you definitely go in! Cycle gear is a great place to start they’ll fit you for a helmet and give you recommendations

Is this waterproof? Can you ride this in a stormy weather or heavy rain? Cool lights by the way.

Waterproof, no. Water resistant, yes. It can handle light to moderate rain, but don't go dunking it under water. Heavy rain, the lights MAY not work as intended, but if that happened, once they dried out, they'd work like normal. We took measures to protect the electronic board inside the controller from moisture.

I recommend incorporating a "brake" light on the back of the helmet. You could put the sensors in the power unit. I hope you get stupid rich boss. Keep on pluggin'

@@hingholo8027 True i suppose,but then i am from an age where wearing of helmets was not compulsory,and rarely wore one when i started riding, so for me any helmet is alot better than none lol...even a cheap helmet is tested to a good standard to be protective, and if needs be 15% better at a higher price then chances are rest of my body gonna be so bad helmet won't save me anyway at my age haha-just mho :P

am UK and postage costs is a pain, but they do post most places-Just be carefull of local laws on helmet lighting (got stopped innitially as had red and blue flashing,police stopped me and said i can have one or the other not both as i look like a motorbike cop -had to agree,amazing how many cars pulled over for me as came up behind em lol

The aux cord that plugs into the controller doesn't squeeze through..I'm sure if u forced it, it would be fine just risk cracking the spoiler..or you could remove the spoiler if yours screws on, most have double sided tape though
