Low notes are captivating, especially when they are played by an instrument as beautiful as the bassoon, the entire performance of the soloist and the orchestra was wonderful, but the low notes captivate me, very beautiful, bravo.

I'm an amateur trombonist and this amazes me. The tone and dynamics are beautiful on the bassoon instrument which I am sure is much more difficult to play than the trombone.
Bassoonist of 45 yrs. Unique to this instrument, ya just have to love it. Obscenely expensive. Maintenance nightmare. Some assembly required. Fingering and keywork defies all logic. And dont even start me on the effing reeds. I will master this untameable beast in about 5 lifetimes. I love it.

I think the same things but her hands don't move! Isn't it?
Yes! It is normal. The bassoon can play also the part of "basso continuo". It is very usually in Vivaldi's concerts for example.
