Glad to see more people on CTXs, I have the 2014 model and must say I love the ride, not too noisy or jerky...😂

Congrats, nice color. I got my 15' CTX700D about the same time as you. Enjoy and ride safe.

Thank you - I agree! To be honest, every photo or video I see of a Candy Red CTX700 - the bikes are just as beautiful.

I watched this video last week, but just now getting around to responding. Anyway, this bike looks amazingly comfortable, especially with that seat! As you know I complain more than anything about the saddle on my bike. :) But, I don't usually ride long enough to justify a seat upgrade. Maybe one day. For now I settle on the park bench!

I'm the same way - I like to be thoughtful in my comments or replies, So I might wait a couple of days after watching a video before commenting,
In a sense, I think I'm playing catch-up. Having just gotten my license this year, I'm trying to pack in a whole bunch of experiences before older age sets in. Things like getting the bigger bike, the Corbin seat (used), different helmets and jackets, etc, My rides aren't very long either, usually under 90 minutes.

@@CenoMoto33 There's no better time than the NOW. ;) I was just browsing your bike on Cycle Trader. Very nice. I'd consider one of those no doubt. It also has a much lower seat height which would make it easier to keep steady when stopped. I can't keep both feet flat on the ground with my bike, but it's light enough that it's no big deal. One toe-tip at a stop light is doable. Anything heavier than 300 pounds I'd need a shorter seat height.

@@Trekopolis When I traded in my ADV, I told them I was interested in a DCT bike. I sat on 3 models...NC-750X DCT, Rebel 1100 DCT, CTX700D. The NC-750X was really sharp and had a ton of storage, but it had a slightly higher seat height and I had a bit of a problem mounting and dismounting. The Rebel 1100 was by far the easiest to mount but it felt so top heavy, it actually scared me. The CTX700 was a great fit immediately, and it's center of gravity is very low -- just like the ADV -- it was the obvious choice. And BTW, if my finances and garage space were what I'd like them to be, I'd have kept the ADV and still get the CTX. so they could be buddies.
