    Do you do a full setup for all tunings on that floyd rose or is it always in Eb tuning?

    • @metaldude
      @metaldude  4 года назад

      I try to keep it in Eb standard for now. But yeah I've had it done in E standard and in drop B, the latter required some fine adjustment every now and then

    Hey @metaldude which guitar are you using in this video? And what was the guitar that you used in "Hell awaits" video lesson. I'm practicing on a beginner electric guitar and looking to buy another one, a better one.
    Thank you.

      this is Gary Holt's signature guitar from ESP, GH-600. The other one is Music Man Luke signature family reserve (fairly pricey but really good).

      @@metaldude They're both definitely pricey and I'm honestly looking for something that's good in quality and sound, reliable, but within a decent price range, something under $500. I'm just ready for an upgrade. I've heard Fender squire is a good step up. Any suggestions?
      Thanks!

      @@ruslansaidov2000 I'd try out Ibanez RG series, perhaps a Jackson, or even Epiphone Flying V. They might cost a little over $500 but not much more. I'm not big on using Fender for metal personally (unless it's lighter metal like classic Iron Maiden)

      @@metaldude I checked out the Jackson guitars and Ibanez RG series, would you say both of them are similar in sound and quality? They have $100 price difference.

      @@ruslansaidov2000 well if I had to choose I would go with Jackson, their stock pickups are better. Playability might be a bit better on Ibanez, although Jackson is also good. I would go to nice guitar store and try them out, if that's possible, before buying.
