This guide of the Kraken Clan of Northgard is my interpretation of how the clan can be played!

Thank you very much for the video! I really enjoy this format of the on-point information, guides and tips and tricks, with the memes and silly bits tossed in, and can really feel your passion in this and everything. I especially liked the part about becoming seafood, because that is exactly what happened to me as well when I first played the Kraken clan. ^^

Yeah, I am seeing lots of time and effort at display with the editing especially! I usually focus more on listening than watching so I admit I had to rewatch the video to see some of the really quick pop ups and such, but it is honestly all very on point and well done, and it made me smile and giggle a couple of times. I also find the lore victory path intriguing. I mostly went with fame and domination so far when playing Kraken, but can see the lore route being a lot of fun too. Definitely gonna try that out again soon. ^^

Personally I am not a pro player I make that opinion of lore focused off of what the clan leans towards. But you can very well win at domination or fame just as easy.

As a main Kraken and high Iron, your lore path is right for the first four, but you need to take endless tide on your fifth, too many 801 rush now. I thought you will do a build order too but you didnt, so i will had mine here:
(No ruins, no shipwreck, no sheeps)
800:
-Scout building, (scout all your +0 tiles (next to TH)), after that build a house(not on TH's tile) and woodcutter.
-Have a loremaster running really quickly (build a Training Camp if needed (count as your 4th building)
-Kill or convert back(uninjured) or scout with the injured one, you need to prioritize coast tiles.
-Build a Fishery on your TH, and a woodcutter(the second one yeah), try for a second Fishery or a horgr.
-First winter is close, you have to build the forge to upgrade your fishermen for free and have a Mine running (either Iron or Stone doesnt matter). if your wood tile didnt get attacked you should have wood to build the second house.
-Build your trading post on your main (you should already be at -1 gold during 3 or 4months before that because it's part of the build), the smiths should become your merchants.
801:
-Build a Horgr if you didnt or the second fishery.
-Clear some of your +1 tiles, expand on a coast tile, mine the second resources
-Upgrade TH, Fishery, Horgr or 2nd Fishery (with only 30 Stone) (doesnt count if you have a wolf den or you start to mine the second stone with 35 in it)
-Build your second trading post, warband, third trading post, house, fishery
-Take Jord's Blessing to either upgrade woodcutter if on a forest and scout camp/house or build your Altar (in some of my games, I was faster than some really good Stag).
-You should have 25 in iron (+15 from the first deposit and +10 for Jord) Recruit warchief (way before is you mine your iron first), upgrade merchants, and norns and warriors (I prefer warriors for the blobs with the spectral warrior at 500fame).
This is my start in 90% of my game, my win rate is really based on if the enemy rush or not and if my teammates go for late game, if so i never lost late game.
My Lore path in 99% of my game (100% domination victory):
-Sharp Axes
-Fresh Fish (build the forge on this timing)
-Mining Efficiency (You should already be mining something at that time or have already finished the iron)
-Knowledge from Beyond and have a trade route with jotunn or teammate
- (1)Endless Tide if you know who your up against (Wolf, Lynx, Boar, Snake, Raven with a ruch relic)
- (2)Near the Sea Spirit, you need that extra gold income and the Wyrd
-- JORD'S BLESSING (NEVER GO FOR Freya's Blessing.... You have fish, you have no production malus with them) and Baldr's Blessing is really situational because you need the norns for your Wyrd so you have happiness.
Thank you for the reply! I am glad to hear input from more experienced players! I initially made this video as a type of overview/beginners guide for the Kraken clan but later down the line I may make a more in depth build guide.
I feel like Kraken is Less popular with the fan base and I wanted to shine some positive light on it as it is my favorite clan!

Wyrd is pronounced like "weird". At least where I come from in the UK. It's a Anglo-Saxon word, so....

How can we open all clans ?
The additional clans are all DLC however steam and other sites (greenmangaming, Fanatical, humble bundle) have sales fairly frequently!

Yes, you have to pay for the extra clans, albeit I think they are about $5 USD. They do not unlock through the story mode.
