I've said it before but I will say it again. You have the number one best Backpacking Channel in Pennsylvania bar none. The work that goes into this gem of a finished product... Such a joy to watch your adventures, and they are true adventures... The music choices so good, the pacing and explanation of where you are and what is happening, absolute professional quality. You bring the viewer with you in a way that very few can. Another masterpiece Jeremy.
@@WALTERZOLNA Thanks Walter! These 3 videos took me some time to put together (my wife can attest to that)and I’ve been thinking of putting out some videos with a quicker turnaround. As you know the editing process can get monotonous at times and I can’t wait to just start on the next adventure. When someone notices the work I put in and appreciates it that’s just awesome. Since I switched to filming at 24 fps I’ve saved a ton on space and I like the end product better. Thanks for the suggestion and especially thanks for the inspirational comments and videos you put out!
That sunset was absolutely breathtaking. I find your videos to be very relaxing…I enjoy the way you narrate your adventures with such a soothing voice. And I’m a big fan of chili cheese fritos too lol.
@@lori416 I’d never knew I’d be putting myself out there so much for the world to see so that comment is really special, thank you. I look forward to more sunsets and hiking adventures with chili cheese fritos!
Good morning, Jeremy . I've been following along and these 3 parts were absolutely epic . I really enjoyed coming along and if I'm ever able , that trip is on the very top of my bucket list. I really do love all your videos. You do a great job on them. Dwayne
Dwayne, thank you! You almost can't go wrong in the Wilds. Any route you take will be rewarding but I'm happy this video is here to help give ideas and inspiration. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos for this trip! Happy trails!
Excellent adventure! Loved it! Nice job bushwhacking to the top of that hollow. I know that must have been a lot of grueling work with most of it off-camera. I probably would have done the same once I'd followed that trail-that-disappeared far enough down. Loved the ending. Really cool route overall.
I was saying to myself I wished I would've recorded mor of that climb because it was ridiculous at times ha-ha! Time to start the Foothills Trail plan! Let's go!
You really had an Epic Adventure and making your own switch back up the mountain was a good idea while bushwacking! That sunset was the perfect way to end this journey, and you did a wonderful job of taking us along for the ride.
Nice timing getting to Gillespie Point for the sunset, and good to know about the Hillborn “Trail.” We just finished our PA Wilds thru-hike (roughly 176 miles, Parker Dam SP to Ansonia). Along the way we stopped to sign the log book at Browns Fork cabin and couldn’t help but notice that you were the last person through there 11 days before us Happy trails!
Thats awesome you got to hike the whole route! Looks like I have videos to watch this weekend, I'll definitely be checking out your adventure! One day I might see you out there, thanks!
I enjoyed watching part 3. You really captured beautiful footage with all the fall color. Thats crazy how Alltrails kindof led you astray at the one part, but that was a smart idea to go up that dry creek bed.
@@hikingoutdoorfamily It was frustrating but exhilarating at the same time to find out my original plan wasn’t going to work. Getting through it was definitely fun looking back. Would I do it again? Probably.😅 Thanks for the support❤️
There aren't any bonehead moves. Just experiences you learn from. I've learned a ton by just wandering the Pennsylvania Wilds and getting lost. Sometimes I prefer to venture into areas where others don't typically. I love that section of the Mid State from Ramsey to Blackwell. Bark Cabin Natural area (a bit South of where you camped) is gorgeous. Awesome video series. Looking forward to the next adventure! P.S. Nice job timing that sunset.
I can't wait to hike more of the MST! I saw on the map a nice area looked to my south just didn't want to backtrack that much the next day. I agree with you about venturing out to unknown areas, it's very rewarding to find your way through them and to get away from the crowds. Looking back your right about the mistakes, they make for a fun adventure and getting through to the end is what matters! Thanks again!
Awesome route you planned out for this one. You know how to put together a great route this one had a little bit of everything in it. Little Italy sounds like it could be fun to explore I would have did the same as you and save it for another trip. Nice job timing your sunset at the end. Always thanks for taking us along and sharing these great hikes with us.
@@DragonRoams Thanks Dragon! Yeah I see a trip to Little Italy in the future, there’s a lot of history to share in a full length video. See you on the trail!
Nice trip. All in all you had pretty good weather for 6 days. DIY trips aren't complete if you don't have at least one navigation snafu. PA Wilds are definitely an overlooked gem for backpacking. Cant wait to hear more about the PA Wilds Loop.
Hey Jeremy, Great 3 part video of your 6 day Renovo to Blackwell adventure, especially the sunset from Gillespie Point (we’ve been up there twice). We did a loop hike of the Beulaland Rd. trail with the Hillborn trail on 10/15. It is accessed just on the other side of the bridge on the Pine Creek Rail Trail from the Hillborn Trail and follows the ridge up, but is unmarked. We own a place in Tioga County and do a lot of hiking all throughout the area and feel like we will cross paths with you eventually. Love your enthusiasm for exploring and adventure!
You know I had a feeling I was way off and when I was editing this part and adding the corresponding maps I said to myself I bet that trail was on the other side of the bridge and I just didn’t see it. Twice I walked by it and didn’t see it. In my mind I was certain it was up the hillborn trail and I guess that took over. I even told myself next time I’m in the area to go check again. Thank you for confirming my suspicions and I’ll definitely put this correction in the details for part three. Hope to see you out there one day and thank you in person! Happy trails!

Greetings. You are the only channel i can sit for 42 minutes without getting up. Even if I had the stamina to go for five or six days, i really couldn't get away that long. How do you get away as much as you do? Just wondering. Does that fly come with the tent? I have a single tent similar to yours. Thanks for my Saturday night entertainment
@@quietjohnoutandabout6578 Greetings, John. That just makes my day this was your Saturday evening entertainment! I took your poll you had up the other day and I selected 16 to 20 minutes for a good video length. I’d love to have my videos around that length and I’m constantly working towards creating a video that tells a story in that short of time. Yes, the rain fly came with the tent. I’ve still yet to see how it holds up in a good rain storm but so far I really like the tent. And yes, I’m very lucky to be able to get out as much as I can. I have a wonderful support system at home. Thanks, John.
