    Ive been onboard this aircraft in real life. Many years ago I worked at an Intl Airport and had clearance and opportunity to go on board for a quick tour. They flew in to take a large cargo back overseas. It was awesome to see. Always remember how archaic it seemed, even for the time, and yet amazing at the same time. Pretty cool

    I remember seeing Mriya when it landed here in Toronto back in 2020. The Canadian government has since seized the Antonov 124 at Pearson Airport for almost 2 years. I get the joy of seeing the rare Soviet aircraft almost everyday, despite the reason for its grounding. Hopefully one day the Mriya will be rebuilt and back in service. Love this plane, easily my most flown plane in the sim, have like 400 hrs on it, 😂. So it’s great to see someone streaming it again. It’s a lot of fun when you understand it quirks, like the AT only really being 100% useful in cruise and level flight, it’s big and sluggish otherwise, despite being FBW.

      Zelensky is the only person to blame for that, making it basically against the law to even talk with the Kremlin. They have almost entirely achieved their objective they stated right from the start of the special operation and would rather it came to an end via talks rather than trench warfare. Plans have already been drawen that if the clown doesn't comply sooner rather than later, they will march on kiev. I hope this happens, personally, but I'm not in the trenches. If you think I'm in any way wrong about anything I said, you need to do an awful lot of research, and from sources that aren't American owned or funded by as the likes of Sky news or The Daily Mail and almost every UK news platform, even if only partially. Sky is owned outright by CNBC, as an example, the American news network.

    Well done. Very thematic. You never seem to put a wheel wrong, which I attribute to either rigorous airline training or film school.
    I thought I heard that this airplane has two flight engineers which shows that the Antonov designers were very serious indeed, although it appears that they sub-contracted the design of the empennage to the Short Brothers.

    If only the Mriya had caught on more. Imagine the Mriya but with the flight volume of something like the C-17 in the military world or the 747-8F in the civilian world. But alas, the Mriya became a glorified museum piece after Buran was cancelled. And the only airframe was lost to the Russo-Ukraine War.

    Been a while since I took the Antonov out. Might do it this Christmas... After the choir performance at church... And the TF-104G flight, since I FINALLY got it as it came to Xbox. No radar operations, but it now has sight functionality, which I think is a nice touch.
    Oh, mental note for fellow Xbox players, NEVER quickstart. I did so without connecting the GPU, or some other function I neglected, as I was exited to get airborne to tame the beast, and I bloody lost hydraulic pressure on landing, preventing landing gear operation and severely limiting elevator movements. Thankfully, I knew to deploy the RAT to save myself, but still a situation I wish to avoid in the future.

      I have recently started experimenting with touching up the visuals during editing however, the main thing you’re probably noticing; I do spend a lot of time adjusting the time of day and weather in my videos, as both can make a huge difference to how MSFS looks. Outside of that, I add a little bit of vignette to my external shorts and occasionally tweak the contrast a touch also.
      I hope that helps a little. Cheers and all the best : )

    When a dictator invades a free democratic country it is not political anymore. You can say what ever you want to support the brave Ukrainians fighting for their freedom from an invading oppressor. If someone find that “political” they can move to Russia and experience the absence of real politics.

    Great maker how I wish this worked on my rig. Though so unimportant on the grand scheme of things, the return of the Myra to the skies would be a fantastic gift to Ukraine, when the human stupidity that is war comes to an end. Contrary to what I have been told the sounds are pretty spot on (compared to the cockpit recordings I have heard), the fan noise in the flight deck is close to what I have heard. (I was told the sounds set was the Asobo A-320 sound set) By the way, that additional "busy flight deck " set you have for the video is great. Was such a phenomenal and legendary machine, and this simulation is visually stunning. I do hope the handling is close to the real thing or as close as they could get on the flight sim. Where did you get the checklist for this bird? Is that a stock version of Antonov international? Nice video sir, and happy holidays to you and yours, and thank you for making these videos.

      I would have quite liked an AN124 also, AAS but, I can certainly see why Asobo went with the AN225 - sadly, this may well be the only way we’ll ever get to enjoy the aircraft again.

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  5 месяцев назад

      Hi Marcus,
      I’m not using any graphical “mods” per se; most of the visual fidelity comes from adjusting the weather / lighting in MSFS itself however, for some shots, I do also tweak the contrast a little and add in some vignette during editing (both of which could be done with Nvidia filters etc, I suppose).
      I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best! : )

    An-225 was build in USSR, not Ukraine.

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  5 месяцев назад

      Hello Alex,
      I don’t think I did state that the An-225 was built in Ukraine? In terms of semantics, I would agree; the aircraft was built in the USSR but, equally I don’t think it would be incorrect to say that it was built in Ukraine (which was of course, formally part of the USSR)? Either way, I think it’s fair to say that Ukraine / UKMM became the “home” of the An-225 (which is why I chose the country / airport as my destination). I did specially make the point during the start of the video, that the intent was not to make any sort of “political” statements etc; I just wanted to celebrate Christmas and the An-225.
      Cheers. All the best : )

      Yes, it’s very sad, the state that the world finds itself in (on both sides of the fence); it’s puts into stark contrast, just how lucky many of us are. I’m really glad you enjoyed the video / celebration of the AN-225 though. Despite my best efforts, the comments section still seems to have gotten a little bit political haha - inevitable, I suppose.
      Many thanks for watching and all the best once again! Take care in the new year : )

    That russian pilots talking in the background is so OFF. It completely ruins the immersion when you understand russian, because it looks like its taken from some kind of emergency landing video :)

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  5 месяцев назад

      Hi Battery,
      I have no doubt; the vast majority of my viewers aren’t going to be Russian speakers though and I think the background audio otherwise improves the overall immersion (on this multicrew aircraft), for those of us who are somewhat ignorant of the Russian language haha. I would love to have included more appropriate audio but 1) there isn’t a huge amount of material to chose from and 2) not speaking Russian, I wouldn’t know if it was “appropriate” or not anyway. So far as I’m aware, the audio was from a normal, though seemingly rather chaotic landing haha!
      Cheers, all the best : )
