We will be recreating a real-world Cathay Pacific service (CX406), with a flight from Hong Kong (VHHH), over to Taipei (RCTP).
Please note this video and all its contents / materials, is for entertainment / simulation purposes only.

Cathay Pacific and the A340-300 bring back so many good memories for me! Such a beautiful combination.
So basically a default a320neo livery, disguised as an a340 that they can charge more money for?
well said!
Unacceptable for a payware!!
I'm on board with lower fidelity aircraft, but I wish the flight model had more focus. I can look past limited avionics if it'll do A to B ok, but when non real life pilots like me can feel (or even see in this case) that its not flying like a real airplane its a bit disappointing, especially given the steep price.
Agree. I don’t mind too much about systems, as long as the plane flies and sounds good. I am also really annoyed by the screens: Fonts and proportions are so wrong. It’s a deal breaker for me
If it's lower fidelity they shouldn't charge that much money for it. There's no defending this, it's a cash grab, plain and simple
I need everything to work as it should, the thought of buying anything LVFR never crossed my mind. Captainsim 2.0 really.
Thank you for another highly informative and in depth presentation... I'd like to think perhaps with a few changes it could be a great aircraft... Looking forward to your next appraisal...Roger...Pembrokeshire
Hey Sir. Looks like you have a full aircraft..LOL. To bad some of the instruments are not working. But some of the other we will take. Nice flight. Thank you again Sir.
I really like the aircraft. I’m an Xbox X simmer with around 720 hours and the various levels of simplicity to complex in regard to airframes available is great to progress and develop my skills. I spent over 100 hours in the C152 when I started and I’ve worked my way up to the BAE 146 and recently the IFT Tornado. I prefer steam gauge to glass cockpits but it’s nice to challenge myself with more complex start-up, flight planning and execution ops or just relax with an easier set-up, get in the air and enjoy the scenery.
Do the brightness knobs work for the MFD’s. Even though the 320neo is rudimentary on setup, those knobs are modeled to adjust.
Does it support tome acceleration? Crucial for a long hauler
Curious as to when you might do another top ten sort of video. The last one you did, along with your full reviews, decided most of my favourite aircraft, so it was immensely useful and probably saved me a lot of money. I appreciate you’re busy, though, and love your usual content. Happy also with my collection so far, but I’m about ready to start down the airliner route, as I’ve been sticking mostly to piston and turboprop, and three or four fast jets for kicks. I’ve been working my way through the Academy training, too, so progressing well - definitely worth the investment as a bundle. So, as someone who wants to learn airliners from scratch but also wants to graduate to finely detailed operation over time, are there one or two planes you would say cover that? I noticed PDGM are pricey, but that’s not an issue, I just worry they will be overwhelming to begin with. Again, I appreciate what you do, thanks.
Hi ITBS
Ive recently started my flight simulator journey. Your content has been an invaluable learning resource, I love the thoroughness of your procedures.
Is it correct to believe that all flight procedures are standardised?
When a pilot goes through training how are they taught these procedures is it through the flight manual for that aircraft?
Is there anywhere I can access the flight manual online to see the written examples of a real procedure?
Are you expected to memorise all the procedures and if so what is the best way to do this?
Do pilots occasionally read the flight manual from time to time in flight?
Finally, what would you approximate the total number of procedures required to fly an aircraft such as the A380?
Thank you
I am having so much issues just to be able to see my route on the ND screen even though the ADIRS positions are on nav all I am getting is the airport ground charts I have no clue why !
The screens in the cockpit looks kinda weird or is it just me? It doesn't look like I'm sitting in the cockpit looking at a screen, it looks like I'm looking at it straight through my monitor. I don't know how to describe it better, hopefully you get what I'm saying. Great video as always!
The fonts are really off. Not at all similar to airbus. Also the proportions are not right.
Am I right in thinking the VNAV does not work on either the A330 and the A340 by LVFR ?
I believe you’re correct, Paul; I think LVFR state as much and either way, the addon essentially has no meaningful VNAV capabilities implemented.
I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best : )
A340-300 has the weakest engines of any quad jet wide body…
glorified hair dryers lmao
I know they have said from the start that this will not be study level. They have already released 1 update that I am aware of. For me here in Australia the cost sits around $45 and I think that's a bit too much for this. Maybe around $30 and I might think about it.There is a site I can go to not saying it's name but you could call them a try before you buy It .If I find what I get there any good then I can buy it.Has saved me a good bit of money. Cheers.
"Not study level" Yeah, it's not even entry level. It doesn't work at all, endless bugs. I think it should be 5 dollars highest.
Does anyone know if he uses a reshade/nvidia filter?
What preset you use brother
Question how did u possibly get your settings and clouds to ULTRA REALISM
Simulator c 5 super galaxy
12:50 how did you get the announcements?? That is brilliant!
For me it is a shame after spending much time in the toliss a340 600 in xplane12 i have to say im really disappointed in this plane its fun but thats about it
Its even surpassed by the free x-works a340
@@real_rsaNoob13 totally agree
Why are you disappointed? It's LVFR, it's no secret that their planes are like this.
The fact they botched the A330 NEO was enough for me to take a few steps back and say naw I’m good! If you can’t produce proper looking liveries! LIVERIES!!!!! Just the paint!!!! If you can’t do that properly then you don’t deserve my money
Understand that a market exists for folks who don’t want or need highly detailed aircraft, but then they need to be priced accordingly. $30 for this is way too much. 20 bucks maybe. Anybody who pays $30 for this has some interesting standards, sorry just don’t get it.
no
I’d really love a good A340, so I’m not touching this.
X-Works a340 is way better... For free
Hi Noob,
I hadn’t come across the X-Works A340 but, it looks great. I might have to check it out. Cheers!
All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations They even did an A330-900neo, A330-800neo and A330-200ceo
It's ridiculous, fly the ToLiss A340. MSFS is trash
X-plane has 2008 graphics.
Yes as a real life A340 pilot, the X-Plane version is really good, no comparison here. But if eye candy is your thing then stick to MSFS
@@340ACP Just because I prefer This sim doesn’t mean I’m buying this trash. PMDG and Fenix are as good as anything on X-plane. We have real life pilots like V-1 and Blackbox who back that up. Cheers mate.
@@340ACP At the end of the day, both X-Plane and MSFS still do not feel like flying a real aircraft. You should know that Mr. “Pilot”.
Man, this aircraft is absolutely horrible. Try the fenix A320 and then compare it to the toliss A320, then it's just as good.
Why in the world are you comparing a scam with a high fidelity aircraft and then judging the whole simulator based off of that.
