That is so cool to see someone go from what looked like really good - to SOO MUCH BETTER. I'm not a racer, but the instruction of an expert comes through so clear. Evan is clear, his instructions are so condensed with no filler, just exactly what will provide the mental clarity of how to execute the training and then you SEE the results immediately, which also shows what a great student looks like. Great video man, love it!
It’s so good to see these instructions from a professional. I was always thinking that going 100% throttle does not give you room to correct your trajectory
Glad to see this because I always review what the best are doing but didn't realize I was missing a step. Slow it down while taking it tighter then speed up once you have your path. I was skipping and trying to just take a tighter path at full speed. Very Helpful MERRRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!
Finally someone takes the time to produce a series of video to help others become better. Last summer at Bonner Springs Kansas, I rode with you in the MultiGP event. Recording allowed me to study your lines. A great teaching tool no doubt!
It's all about the discipline of prioritizing lines first. Not throttle. You see fast guys quads flying around at full throttle and think that's the missing link for your flying. But it's not. Lines first, throttle later.
I have been working on lines but using throttle cap. I'll have to give the self control a go for a few practice sessions and see how i manage. Thanks for the Pro tips 🤙
I found this very interesting. If you want to work on control like in free style, or tracing a camera track like when you were chasing skiers, is practicing on a track like this the most effective way to learn to get better control and predict good lines?
When you say "50-70% throttle" are you meaning stick control, or is using a scale cap in Betaflight ok? I struggle with maintaining throttle control in a "powerful" quad, but with a cap, I can fly good tight lines. At 100%, using a throttle curve helps smooth it out for me, but switching quads and having different throttle curves, messes me up. I need them all the same. Not sure what the right approach is to solve this.
Interesting, I’ll think on how to resolve this. In this video Brody was self limiting, but you could do something similar via a throttle limit as well. Throttle curve is tough to solve so I’ll think on it!

I appreciate that! It truly is all about the student imo, Brody is great!
Having all these concepts put into words and demonstrated certainly helps to differentiate the steps.
I’m glad !
I can really appreciate the flurry of content recently …… it’s authentic ….
I’m glad it’s apparent! No fluff around here haha
Great video! I realized the exactly same point when I started flying with Asiy on sim races, and that's when I became a much better racer.
It absolutely makes a difference, but very difficult to execute in practice

Merry Christmas to you Skip! Excited to see the faster lap times :)

Glad you enjoy it!
I have been desperate for content like this, THANK YOU
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching
One on one teaching, it dont get any better, great brand to learn from buddy.
Trying my best, thanks for watching !
He's training his competition in a couple years 😄
haha i want everyone to be at their best :)
My key takeaways, line management and throttle control

great video, great tips. keep up the good work Evan :)
Will do!
This is the content i need. keep it up!
Thanks for watching !
Just AWESOME! Thanks Evan!
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
FPV theory #105: throttle limit of 80% make you 20% faster.
You know me too well haha
Love the music track for this one!
Haha I’m glad! Thanks for watching
Let’s Go Foshe!!!

Controlling it manually is certainly more difficult, but could be worth it in the end !
Great video! This will help many..
I hope so!
@@headsupfpv For sure.. It`s well explained. Simple and clear.
Massive improvement you are awesome at teaching Evan. Thanks for the content lately and hope to see you on DRL soon
Thanks for the kind words!
Posting before not sure!
You won today ! Happy holidays Nordy
@@headsupfpv thanks you too dude!
Great advice!🧐
Thanks for watching ! Excited to see how people apply it
yawthorized race challenge is for the top qualifiers to perform 4 rolls 4 backflips
and 4 frontflips
at anytime during race
I love it hahaha
So pro tip N1: be Evan's friend and ask him to review DVR, noted :)
🤣🤣🤣
For you anytime my friend
Great content!!
Thanks for watching !!
Tnks for the tips
Of course!
@headsupfpv Will you fly the same track and line compare? Ideally with throttle percentage and sticks in OSD?
That's the plan ! Lots of videos in the pipeline

I really truly believe the answer is yes, racing is such a great way to improve your control
@ what kind of flying has contributed most to your skill? 80% racing and 20% cinematic or is there other factors?
Should probably break that further into sim practice and what you specifically were working on then

Don’t give Foshe too many tips he’s already too fast 👀😝😂
Foshe to the top! Haha
Are there any events focused on learning/practicing racing?
No, but I think this is a great idea!
6:02 I feel called out.
🤣🤣🤣 nothing wrong with that hahaha
😮😮😮😳😳🤔💯🔥
Thanks for watching !
Teach me how to beat hyper or neon lol
This would be the world’s longest video. I think it’d be faster to just pray hahahaha
like this..
Love the new content! Great job Evan, and great improvement on flying @fosheFPV .
Glad you like it and thanks for watching!
