The other instruments and the vocals that made it sound different and more black metal, but it's just a slow traditional blast. Blake does it in nearly all of their songs.
Just as with literally every other BTBAM song in existence, nothing clicks with me at the initial listen. There are a few hooks here and there but i simply cannot compute BTBAM from the first listen. Slowly but surely though the songs grow into the masterpieces they really are. I've barely listened to this once so i can't pass judgement. White Walls took me many listens to truly appreciate.

😂😂😂😂 inspector butters my favorite show all time lol
Swim to the Moon did that 10 years ago bud
@@hcaz5818 I'm sorry but I prefer this song over Swim To The Moon anyday yo!😎
Oh hamburgers!
@@russellny8086 mine too. Unfortunately I can’t watch it or listen to this album for a full week! My dad grounded me for saying nutsack in front of grandma….
God, the riff at 3:42 is INSANE
Makes me want to pick my couch up and slam it through the floor lmao
Just finished the album and of course I don't know exactly what I just heard cause it's such a long album, but I loved every damn second of it.
It'll be like the first colors, or all their other albums, it's going to take a few listens to fully appreciate it all.
😂😂😂😂
yep, I'm a dozen or so listens in with very little sleep, and I'm still catching little details :D
White walls feels 🥰
Absolutely amazing!
I knew this would be fabulous, but I couldn't have truly anticipated. We are so fortunate to be alive to witness such mastery, such genius, such meticulous and iconic work. Bravissimo!
It really does feel like we’re witnessing some of the greatest music ever made. We are very fortunate indeed.
Please do a live DVD of this gig
This is a studio recording.
I love all the 80s movie references musically in the Album
11:32 Prequel to the Sequel breakdown!
This is music to my ears. Well done BTBAM
Wow. This album has literally brought me to tears. Meet and exceeded my expectations. And somehow im not surprised. Cause yall never disappoint. Love youguys
Not quite tears but definitely chills. These dudes are from another planet good
@@mindseyemusicreview as soon as the end of turbulent rolled around i was gone. Then sfumato started and i just couldnt hold it back. Then human is hell started and i started laughing while crying lol. I saw that it was 15 min like halfway through the album and i was like "theyr not gonna do white walls 2 are they" and sure as shit 🥰
Dude. I've never understood why but I find BTBAM's music so beautiful, that I always get emotional too. Peace!
I got an ad in the middle of this song for KFC and I thought it was part of the song lmfao 😂 🤣
Knowing how BTBAM is, it's not too far from something they'd actually do. 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Omg haha so ready for lossless
@@BeardManDrummer1999 well, most of them are vegan. So it's not likely they would promote a fried chicken restuarant. But I definately see your point for a fake ad in their album lol
I’ve had that too and was showering at the time and had to check to see if it was an ad or the song lol
The clean section at around 8:09 is one of the most beautiful and satisfying things they've ever done.
I liked this song right away, but it wasn't my favorite on the first couple listens. But now that I've read the lyrics I feel like this is their magnum opus. Definitely the best on the album IMO
100%, took me 3 full listens but now it's in my top BTBAM albums. Human is Hell and Bad Habits being my 2 favorite tracks for now.
It took white walls and made it BETTER
I was accidentally playing this song on RUclips and Spotify at the same time and I didn't immediately realize it while checking this song out for the first time. Thats how you know this is a trve prog band
The use of callback riffs in this album is amazing. They really brought Colors back and did it justice.
6:49 - holy fuck that part slaps so hard. How Tommy sings "destruction, abomination" + Blake's blastbeat melts my face 🤯
Just absolutely blown away by this band.
I loved every single second of this album, and as I finish its full playthrough for my very first time, I just want to express how truly overwhelmed with joy I am from this utterly fantastic musical journey. I could have only hoped to end "Colors II" with this kind of feeling - the feeling that you guys didn't just follow up "Colors" brilliantly, but you very well may have outdone it completely. Once this track rolled around after Sfumato, I immediately realized, "Holy shit, they're really going to out-White Walls motherfucking White Walls. They're doing it." And I enjoyed it so, so much.
10 out of fucking 10, BTBAM. Colors is the greatest piece of music I think has ever been recorded in my own lifetime - I thought its legacy was untouchable. You've proven me wrong, in the best way possible.
Shoulda rename it "Whiter Walls".
The fucking goosebumps, thank you BTBAM
TABARNACK.
You know guys, I was at the Exofest in Quebec city almost 19 years ago. Felt in love with you. Never heard a most perfect album from anyone. Thanks for your hard work!❤️
12:30 *chef’s kiss*
5:32 - can someone get that phone it's been ringing for years now
10:06 - doesn't sound like Prospect successfully laid his ghosts to rest
THE END STARTS NOW!
11:31 a not so pleasant cry for help
@@hortonhearsahunter we need a thread to track these things
@@boat02 Was thinking that as well. At 14:15 those leads kinda sound like a riff from disease injury madness as well.
@@hortonhearsahunter feels like it, and same timbre to the uhhh... you know the part after the horse pops in?
My favorite track off of the new album
I’m working in 106 degree warehouse and all I keep hearing Tommy sing is “humid as hell”
That sucks that you had to work in that heat but that's hilarious that you heard him singing that. Don't you have heat safety precautions in your warehouse? That seems kinda dangerous to work somewhere that hot.
@@notsure1969 In the commonwealth of the great state of Virginia, you have a right to work. You don’t have any rights to stay working lol it’s basically your boss is allowed to be a dictator and if you don’t like it well tough shit. The only workers rights you have are protections against discrimination based on color, gender, sexual orientation. Lastly your only other protection is the right to make minimum wage or above. That about sums up your rights here
@@GrowingDank42 Damn. That really sucks. You'd think they'd care about the health and safety of the people they are dictating.
My favorite part of the song is at 12:30 when the main melody comes back for the grand finale. Gives me goosebumps and I can’t wait to hear this one live!
Sing with me for today is gone. It's gone.
Can't get over how good this is.
Can't get over how fake these comments are. youtube plz
@@LMTR14 No u
So many people die without hearing btbam, and that's a shame.
Oh sht long song. And man I feel so guilty for going years without listening to this band. But I shouldnt feel guilty because I was the one missing out! But now catch up and get back tibjamminiut tinthis great band. This album is so good from what I've heard. Glad it's a long album too.
Anyone notice that the beginning riff is a combination of a riff from obfuscation and white walls? Pretty neat!
yes I came back here to type this, it took me a few listens to realize!
The towards end World music makes Oingo Boingo happy, somewhere Danny Elfman smiled
I can see myself listening to this album nonstop for the rest of the year but October will definitely be an Oingo Boingo month as always lol
This band makes me proud to be from NC
From the first note on Monochrome i went "oooooooooooooh shit! There it is!"
this is actually my favorite song.
The ultimate outro song of all time yo yeehaw!🤘😎🤘🖤🌷🎼🎤🎹🎸🥁👽🎧📣
These guys deserve more recognition. It must be difficult to make long songs very technical with lyrics out of this world. I wish people would appreciate more bands who actually put effort in their music instead of pop artists making stupid music. But oh well, cheap prices attract more people.
Now this is the song I really wanted. I can rest easy. Album good.
Just wanna say.. Thank you !!!
This is one amazing album.
6:40 can I hear this sort of blast a lot more often in future please, that is vicious
That part is fucking insane 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 prog black metal
The other instruments and the vocals that made it sound different and more black metal, but it's just a slow traditional blast. Blake does it in nearly all of their songs.
one of the best moments of my life !
Yoooo s they went Mike Patton straight dillinger at 6:20 I love this
Just as with literally every other BTBAM song in existence, nothing clicks with me at the initial listen. There are a few hooks here and there but i simply cannot compute BTBAM from the first listen. Slowly but surely though the songs grow into the masterpieces they really are. I've barely listened to this once so i can't pass judgement. White Walls took me many listens to truly appreciate.
One word description. EARGASM.
8:28 beautiful, peak BTBAM right there
Brilliant 🤯
Yoooo white walls nice dig it 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 I fucking love this band
It's croony synthwave progressive surf rock technical blackened death metal!
insane.
11:08
Smashing pumpkins Siamese dream era vocal. Fuck that's cool. More of this please.
They did it again.
Such White, very Walls
I LOVE THIS SONG
I had to pee when this song started. Guess I'm holding it for 15 minutes.
please make a guitar/bass playthrough of this song!
This song was so much they put a short ad in the middle of it for me lmao
I would say BTBAM is back, but they never left! AOTY contender
I'd say they are back with this one, the last 3 records have been doo doo
@@hcaz5818 automata was incredible fuck outta here
4:24 - Did someone say "Danger Zone?"
Track had me stun locked for 15 fucking mins .
Any hear white walls in the drums in the intro? Fucking love this band and this New album!!!
4:26 PIANO SOUNDS LIKE FOAM BORN A
Ahh the intro calling back to White Walls ahhhhh
Amazing
Holy cow first time hearing this, I think these guys created a new genre, schitzophrenic metal 🤣 Not knocking it's a cool song but damn these guys are all over the place. Definitely a talented band though
This band has so much more soul than other bands. This band is infinitely better than the bands jerking off over having the fastest guitar playing and using their digital technology to fake talent. Obviously they are technical and have used digital technology but this band has so much more conviction and insight on the human condition. Long live BTBAM
Wtf how dare you put ad breaks during a BTBAM song, youtube!!
THREE OF THEM
@@mcshreddies Ublock
02:58 sick riffage and groove change memo for me.
Has anyone else noticed that Human Is Hell has the same progressions in each instrument and feel as White Walls from Colors I? Is that just me? I see from other comments that other's feel the same. It's like Human Is Hell is the evolution of White Walls in Colors II. I do not believe this was on accident. Speaks volumes to their genius as musicians. There might be some other parallels as well in Colors II! Let me know if anyone else spots some. I've seen some people comment on parallels from Colors I - Ants of the Sky and Sun of Nothing - in Colors II. Will listen and connect!
