@@jozefvelez8458 Why would your radiator explode? It makes no sense. Especially when the water pump is electric and the rpm is not going to effect how fast the water pump spins.
It's still a work in progress but you can look in the engine section of 1addicts.com where I've posted a few times. I plan on doing a diy video once I get it on a dyno and the tune is finished.
@@buildanddrive that's a cut single stage manifold to be precise, not that you could tell the difference at this point. Reworked the Pcv, purge solenoid, added a IAT sensor, Bob at StageFP is doing the hard part, working the tune. So far so good.

Must fab your own intake manifold, 4-5 hours depending on how nice you want it to look, starting with a old stock one. Another 4-5 swapping out parts and flashing the tune. I'll do a full DIY once everything is fully worked out. Only about $1200 invested so far with the tune and catless headers being the bulk of it. Sounds great ripping wide open but at very low throttle it has a induction whistle that sounds like a slipping belt, kind of annoying, haven't worked that out yet.
@@PR0bro been running this way since January. Still working on the tune, so a couple issues still nagging. I've only had it up to 7700 a handful of times to get some afrs logged, but hasn't seemed to care much.
Not at all. Ended up needing to daily the car, and the tune still had some gremlins. So I put the N54 manifold on and drive it daily. 188,000 miles and counting.
Yup stock bottom end handled it just fine. Didn't touch the valvetronic, was still using it. The intake was literally trumpets straight to the valves. With no MAF or even vacuum we couldn't meter the intake air volume. It was great when it was working but the stock ecu wouldn't play ball for long before it'd freak out.
Yes and no. There's no throttle bodies for each runner it's wide open all the way to the intake valve. The intake valves adjust lift to become the throttle bodies.
It's running on a custom tune that Isn't finished yet so still a few codes and small issues. With no MAF, MAP, or throttle body it runs surprisingly well, so I'm okay with it for now.
Not on the 128. I use the torque pro app to monitor all my vitals while driving. Not sure why the couldn't include the temp gauge, but I kind of like the minimalist look. One day I may change out the cluster skins for something more interesting.
@@Druwoods damn that’s kinda annoying. I didn’t know that. My sisters 328 has the oil temp so I thought the 1 would have it. @@Druwoods ah sweet I cant wait to watch the DIY! I'm definitely considering this, hows the throttle response with the intake by the way?
Throttle response is good, still working out some subtle tuning issues so it may get better. Ultimately valvetronic motor speed will be the limit.
