FOR the people who is not able to do the method given by him
you can instead try
1st step 3d keyer the green part and refine it
2nd step now compound clip from the clip of your green part means which ever clip you chose to be on green side compound clip with that
3rd step take the compound clip and add alpha out put to it and remove the blue color
if still you are unable to see anything adjust in the timeline little bit.
hopefully this should help worked for me

when I faced the same problem, I tried to make a serial node for the second clip (in which you must get rid of the remain color) and remove the blue color from the first clip and remove the green color from the second and connect them to each other then connect them to the alpha output

So what I did to fix it was that I duplicated the background clips in the timeline so they fill the black gaps. Then I compound those clips to the main clip and it was fixed. I had to do compounding like 3-4 times but it was fixed.

Make sure you move the compound clip up to the second row like he did. Then put your second video on the first row. Then key out the second color and it should work.
