When I try to render a timeline with glitches, it fails to render. Then asks if the glitch file is still in its file location. Any fix or tip for this?
I worked in the film industry in the 90's, I quit to go work on with a professional bicycle team and I'm now just coming back to film making. What you just taught me in eight minutes would have taken days to create in analogue. I feel like I fell asleep and woke up in the future.
Hope you enjoyed this one. Let me know if you did and i'll make more transition videos! Honestly, once you get used to this, you can knock transitions up in literally seconds and there's so many possibilities! Have a play with different effects, overlays and composite modes for endless amounts of different transitions! 🙂
I don't have any subscriptions for using stock footage so I had to rely on the glitch image alone, but after 30 minutes I did it! (For 1 second of footage) Beyond happy. 11/10 video
@@MrAlexTech lol thanks. Im a total noob trying to figure out DR fusion seems overwhelming and complicated these shortcuts help alot. Do you think final cut or adobe is faster and easier to use for noobs? Looking for like simple edits and templates for transitions (drag and drop) seems like the other software has more options.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Other tutorials have really elaborate instructions using a bunch of paid/unpaid tools. This is simple and looks great. Thanks!
I don't know how you do it but keep doing the way you do helping us with da Vinci on the most simple way for us to learn how to use this complicated software.
great video. I'm new to davinci. Not looking to be a pro, just to make my YT vids and this does the trick. Tried several others but only yours showed me where to look to grab the overlays etc. Thanks so much.
RUclips recently recommended this video.... I had never even considered glitch transitions. I love what this adds to the video. I just went back and re-edited a video I was about to publish. Thanks for the content and the sources!
thank you so much man. i've just been adding glitch sfx to additive disolve transitions but this is so much better & not nearly as difficult so i thought it would be.
Thanks for this one Alex! I've been enjoying your tutorials a lot, but this one in particular, actually so much that I applied all this in my last video. Really appreciate the useful links you put in the description. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Have a good weekend!
I'm so happy I found your channel. I am a beginner at editing and your tutorials are well-explained and easy to follow. Thank you very much for the time you put into them. I find myself without enough time to watch all of your past videos... so much to learn and so few hours in a day. ;)
Dude... This is the Truth.. great freakin Transtion fX... i have some work to do... thanks for your work. i appreciate this for what i am doing... im inspired
The thing I love about your videos man is your always so organized, direct and "to the point" no promotional rambling just right down to business. The color temperature in your content is so cool as well.. 👍 I feel like that blue lighting helps reduce stress and blood pressure 🤣
MrAlexTech, you're amazing! I'm new to Resolve and I've had 15 for a year or so. But, I found your videos and upgraded to DR 16. Thanks to you, I've finally been able to get all the transitions I've been wanting to use for free and without having to buy Adobe programs :D
Great one, Alex! I used a number of your tutorials for the various techniques on the episodes for our channel. I already have some ideas for this tutorial in our future episodes. More transition ideas would be awesome! Looking forward to the next video!

hey mr alex i wanted to ask how can you make the vhs effect like a distorted tv but without fusion
I've seen other "glitch" effects tutorials. But, yours is the only one that looks effective and dramatic. Thanks so much.
Yes, exactly my thoughts.
You don't deserve enough props for making tutorials with no catches and getting straight to the point. Thank you so much!
That is f****** amazing. Thank you so much for your tutorial. Easy to understand, no unnecessary talking, just a straight up guide. That's a POGGERS
You get noob love for this one. Easy to understand and use and it looks great. I was getting tired of simple cross dissolves.

Awesomely useful. Now I'm gonna go build my own glitch audio with my synths and use this method.
Ace 👍 Would love to hear what you come up with for the audio 🙂👌
the master of tutorials
I love the fact that Alex leaves some of the non-usable footage (turning back to turn the camera off) rather than a clean fade. So humanizing.
Best glitch tutorial I have seen on here. Kudos!
Thank you! 😁👍
the replay every little edit is veryyyy helpful,. thankss
