Great video, Jamie. So many want the masking to be done in the color tab, but since masking is usually motion related, I think it's better to do it in the fusion tab. Thanks for making it easy to understand.

Could you please do some Sam Kolder transitions? Drone flying through objects masking. How he stabilizes his shots perfectly. Key framing color to match next shot. So many i know 😂
Really well done… You’re a great teacher. If I’m going to nitpick… Only in science-fiction movies do you walk through a door and the sun blazes into your face. So I would’ve left that off. But that doesn’t negate the fact of how well you explained your technique. Last time I did that, I just put a green screen on the other side of the door… And that was a hell of a lot easier. But you can’t always do that.
I'm loving the tutorial Jamie however im slightly stuck. ive managed to draw the rectangle using the polygon on the first keyframe where the door slightly opens, but the image isnt showing through the door. What button must i press to follow thrrough with my input. thanks for you help

Hi Jamie, nice Video, thank you! But I have one problem, my mask startes from second one and noz from that second I use my fist Polygon point. What do I wrong?
Hi, saw this and thought I have to do this when I get home. Loved doing it following your video. The issue for some reason that has occured is the polygon that I started when the door opens has decided to be there from the outset and not just when the door opens. If I remove the polygon markings from the fusion page before the door opens, then the polygon vanished for the rest of the scene. any ideas please?
