totally agree, I am always curious about the demo of the songs but after han metioning he loved the demo and still listening made me incedibly curious. Now it's no longer a curiosity but a need :,,/ we could have had a chance to hear it if channie's room was going on, though chan might have get shy and might not let us hear it. Hope we have a chance to hear it in future

Actually cover me was written by hyunjin and Chan, I think that the song has a lot of background on hyunjin hiatus and that makes the song even more powerful and deep. Even before I knew the meaning of the song just with the melody and their voices made me cry. After knowing the meaning I immediately thought in hyunjin as he said one time in the hiatus he was one night watching stars and wishing it was stay 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺 this album brought me a lot of emotions
Bang Chan said in a live once that their live performing track has the vocals at about half volume so that they can still sing over it but sometimes if there’s a problem the track covers them. Also Felix is wearing that over the ear mic and you can always see he has to hold it closer to his mouth to actually be heard, so yeah we’re probably hearing the music track for the megaverse live cuz Felix never grabs for his mic because of the dancing.
Lee Know is KILLING the vocals this album! So is Jeongin. Seungmin always kills it but he is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man Chan really worked wonders with Megaverse. That beat man... reminds me of FREEZE where that beat change just comes out of NOWHERE and shakes your very soul.
Also getting some of Changbin SINGING is amazing. Ever since he was on Masked Singer I knew we needed more singing Binnie, his voice is lowkey AMAZING
Editing again, With their JYP contract coming up for renewal soon, all the curse words we're slipping in and the very touchy breakup song at the end of the album... It almost seems like they are breaking up with JYP and going their own way. Which NGL - I WOULD LOVE. I would kill to see them start their own label.
I think that's what we're all hoping for. And with them being friends with literally everyone, it's a real possibility. Can you imagine how fast people would sign on if BangChan was gonna be their boss?
The Bus in LaLaLaLa says District 325 because they debuted on March 25th! So they're calling back to the bus from District 9 but making it an even better easter egg by referencing 3/25. They did the same thing with the license plate in Topline and a bunch of other MVs :)

Glad Binnie knew wtf he was talking about. LALALALA being a B-side for 5 star would have robbed us of title song greatness.
And honestly, the vibe of LALALALA fits this album! I think 5 Star had a very good tracklist that fits the theme or sound of the album.

I think u should watch the intro bc it explains a lot for each song and what their meaning for rockstar actually is. I.N and Seungmin blew me away with their vocals. I.N has grown so much vocally and we notice and appreciate his hard work. And Lee Know, wow he was shinning in the Lalalala MV. You can tell how much hard work they put into their work. So proud of SKZ ❤ The album was so great

Cover me is (mostly) written by Hyune as well as, ALSO composed mostly by Hyune and Chris; as a predebut stay I can say that this is deffo one of my fave skz “ballads” (I don’t acc know what genre this song is falls under).

Cover me, Co wrote and Co produced with Hyunjin and Bangchan Teddy. Love it, love all the kid’s voices. Now I need Chan release the demo which is Han said Chan and Hyunjin’s voices are so great combination. When I heard they made the song together, I thought it’s gonna be red light 2.0 (sexy and deeply) but it came with sad and emotional, these two never make me disappointed, it’s showing stray kid’s have great Vocals once again.
Blue light is the good name for Cover Me
They don't fully lip sync, they always have the backing track and by default because low tones are inherently more quiet, and Felix's voice is so low, it's hard to hear his soft and low parts over the track sometimes. 😘
If you watch the intro it explains exactly song, ots a play on words... Rock also means pleasure, they feel that a "rockstar is a free spirit" and this album is made to pleasure STAYS by the free spirits they are being Stray Kids.
Cover me was written by hyunjin and Chan. They did a wonderful job. The song is absolutely on of my favs.
If Seungmin start the intro, that's song will be easy listening somg, and then if Changbin start the intro, that's song will be fire 🔥

From what I have heard from them themselves they don't lip-sync in concerts hardly at all. I love your reactions, the faces you make when you lose you shit because they out did something or whatever kinds makes me laugh, in a good way. I.N did sing that. I had to stop it and rehear that just to make sure. I would watch the intro to this album, they explain a lot of where and who wrote the songs on it.

I usually don't like slow ballady songs that much, but my 2 favorite tracks from this album are Cover Me and Leave 😢 Binnie treating us to his vocals 😭
My favorite genre of music is rock and I was really excited looking forward to this album so imagine my surprise when Cover me became my favorite 😳

Hyunjin co-wrote and co-composed it with Chan, not arranged. Chan and Nickko Young arranged it meaning they produced the instrumental track ❤

@@a_tiny_stay you're a little confused with the terms so I'll try to explain. hyunjin got the instrumental track from chan (he talked about how grand the track was in the intro video), that's what arrangement means. Making the track. You can look at the credits and see chan and nickko young as the only arrangers. then hyunjin wrote the song over the track (the first verse, chorus etc.). after that chan wrote the second verse in the song. Then they recorded a demo of the finished song with only the two of their vocals. When it was the time to record with the whole group, since hyunjin was busy he left notes to chan to tell him the things he wanted, probably things like "i want this member to sing this part using falsetto/full voice" etc. then he came and directed the recording of the remaining members. Hope it wasn't confusing ☺️
Bangchan was rlly cheeky making them say shit cause in the acc lyrics it says "shift" but we all know what he was doing😏😏😏😏

So you know, the song “Cover Me” was written by Hyunjin and will always be treasured in my heart. I’m also proud of Binnie’s vocals, he’s made so much progress.

I love the album! And even though I always gravitate to the higher energy songs, in this case I could appreciate the ballads right away. Cover me needed to be longer though goddammit.

Also just a disclaimer on Felix, based on what and Chan mentioned one time, is that is that it's rare to see the. lip sync (beyond mvs) But what u are right about is that they do sing on top of backtracks somrtyimes at a certain volume, for some impact/harmonies.

For the lipsincing SKZ mostly doesn't do it. They use backing vocals and lipsinc the parts that are impossible to do live. There is a video where Chan talks about it.
Anyway their performances are so impressive I don't and won't judge them for lipsincing sometimes.😁
