They don't each record the full song and then pick and choose which person's bit sound the best, but they do have say in which parts they perform (for example, Seungmin specifically chose his rap bit in Cheese). And since 3RACHA are in control of the process, they have the freedom to switch things around and pull a "Hey, try this other line while you're in there" or add in unplanned bits (like I.N's "ja hana dul set" in Cheese). And we know that they do sometimes have multiple people's versions of ad libs and accents and whatnot that they choose among.
Chan forgetting the lyrics is one of my favorite things because you just see a bunch of the members whip their heads to him like sir excuse me what??? Also you need to watch the video of all of Changbin’s adlibs to thunderous right before Lee Know’s part because there are some hilarious ad libs he adds in the live performances of that song
Watching Teddy react to these type of videos is so endearing, clearly, he is interested in the process, but also, the reactions to the runs these guys try is so adorable. Thank you Teddddyyyyy
13:28 Chan once said that when he working on a song he would also think about which member was good at singing a certain part of that song, and if when the recording wasn't good, he would try to listen to the other members sing it
13:19 i actually think that’s what they’re doing a lot of the times. hyunjin said that he didn’t know he was the “ddaeng” in freeze until he watched the music video. they probably all did their versions and 3racha picked their favorite one, they probably do that for a lot of chorus/prechorus parts
If you remember, can you tell me in which video Hyunjin talked about this? When I first heard the song Freeze, I thought Hyunjin was perfect for the ddaeng part, and it reminded me of Hyunjin's part in Stray Kids' cover of Bang Bang Bang.
@@tuncamerve ahhh i’m sorry i don’t exactly remember which one but it was in one of his voice-only vlives! chan also mentioned on vlive they had to basically record hyunjin ddaeng over 100 times. and yes i after he really is suited for that part!

I think it is a combination of methods. They discuss the line distribution as a team and sometimes one of them will request a certain part, or suggest who they think suits it best. Some parts, like ddaeng and domino are recorded by everyone and they pick the best. Fun fact, each 'domino' was a different member

The last one is at DEKIRA (Day6 Kiss The Radio), the daily radio show that a lot of idols come to promote new songs, hosted by Young K of Day6 and since he’s now in the military service, BTOB Minhyuk is hosting show and it’s called BTOB Kiss The Radio. Lee Know and Seungmin were regular on that show on every Monday, and at that Thunderous period, they were still regular MCs. So for Stray Kids they feel like home at that show.
There is also a performance at that show for MANIAC and Case143 you might want to watch.

Nice choice of reactions ! Kpop is a lot about shows and performances, but those kind of videos are my favourite. I love to ear the voices, I love to see a bit of the process, I love to feel their mood in the studio... Stray kids recordings are particulary nice to watch :)

If you want to see them really cutting up, their SKZOO version of Thunderous is funny because they keep trying to knock each other's heads off, and almost all of their dance relays are basically just them goofing around.
I highly suggest Mixtape #1 and Mixtape #2 for Skz. For 3racha I think you would like 'dont touch me', The Dreamz, Cloud-9, ID_a and 'if' from spearb especially. These are some of my favourite from their Soundcloud times. Theres actually a whole compilation on yt worth 2hours of every 3Racha song :D. As for live Performance, you NEED to watch Back Door with the group Loud. Binsung is killing it there

You should watch them record the vocals for the "I'll Be Your Man" performance. Han is hilarious when he recorded that song. I feel like when 3RACHA writes lyrics that sometimes they have a certain member in mind when they write certain lyrics. Like Felixs "5 star michlien" line, Han wrote it and I think collectively 3RACHA decided that Felix was the best for it since his voice would be the most impactful. Or Lee Knows lines in The Tortoise and the Hare. Whereas songs like Sorry, I Love You, or Secret Secret might not have certain members and they just distribute it with what sounds the best.
