Watching him slowly lose his mind over every song was lit! Well done, skz. I still remember their debut and pre-debut days and this just makes me highly emotional. Previously, everyone was like: stray kids who? Now it's like: wtf? ydk stray kids? the amount of fame and success they've achieved, they deserve it. Blind-Spot is like Stray Kid's anime theme song or something. Its so hype Hyunjin and Bang Chan wrote Cover Me and I can really see how Hyunjin's story played into the song and how raw his lyrics are because of that touch of bitter-sweet sadness. IDk I can't even form sentences I just love it so much and I love it even more because it's Hyunjin's song. And I'm not saying that in a way that I like Hyunjin more than any of the other members. If anyone else had written this song, I would've loved it just as much because they wrote it and gave it their personal touch. The fact that the pain in this song came from one specific person makes it so much more emotional and heartbreaking. I also love that Hyunjin is getting to showcase his talent in this song because I feel like he has so much potential to write so many good songs with all the he went through with the bullying scandal and his hiatus and also the pressure he feels to prove his talent and prove that he didn't just get into the group because of his looks. I just love the lyrics about shading them from the spotlight and covering them because it creates this image of all of them protecting each other from all the hate and hurt. I just love it so much. One of my top Stray Kids songs tbh.
This album is something else😭 it really is so hard to rank it because they gave us a variety of different sounding songs and they’re all 10/10 😫 I’m so glad you enjoyed this album with us it’s my first comeback too! We really got to experience one of the greatest comebacks as our first one🥳

Cover Me was written by Hyunjin (with some help from Chan) and it's the first Korean ot8 bside he's written mainly alone, the others were co-written, japanese or unit songs it's such an amazing song i need more of his in the future, the ones hes already written are some of my faves Blind Spot is my favourite song of the album and it was written by Han, also with the help of Chan and Changbin he usually gets inspired by animes and kdramas, but this song he wrote from his own recent experiences which just makes it even more meaningful you should watch the Rock-Star Intro, its a video where all the members talk about each song, the meaning and inspiration behind them, their views and interpretations of them, the creative process involved and some behind the scenes of the recording
Blind Spot wasn't written by Han with the "help of" BinChan". They all wrote and composed it together and we don't know who wrote which part. Han said "even though I wrote it" in the Intro but it's just the translation adding a subject. He meant he contributed writing it. I'd appreciate if you edited that part ❤
SKZ are not allowed to swear in songs, so they in both comflex and la4 they used a Korean word which sounds similar to sh*t. but we all know what they meant :) SKZ is a rare group, which never missed for me. they are also the only ones whose songs I like so much, that I listened to all their discography. that's why they are my ults. and that's why it is hard for me to rank their songs. Probably I will be able to do that in a week or more, when I get used to songs more.
bro i can't even describe how cover me made me feel. like i listened to it first this morning and had a normal reaction but then i listened to it loudly in the car & i felt a rush of so many emotions through my body, i just froze & then cried lol i genuinely think it's one of my all time favorite songs now
I listened to it on my way drive to work and it hit me so hard I wept. Had to walk in to work a hot mess. Mind you, this happens every comeback. You would think that I would learn and wait til the drive home after work to listen to a new album but of course I never do.

I’m just sad that Han didn’t get more lines in Cover me. Seungmin and Han are like THE vocalists of Straykids so it would’ve been so beautiful if he also got one of the high notes like Seungmin and Chan. But it’s still my fav song of the album.
@kpop5520 They removed main positions like that since Woojin left. Han is a vocalist. And it’s well known that Seungmin and Han are the best vocalists in Straykids. Ofc I.N is a great one too and I really love him, but I previously wasn’t talking about him.

Congrats for your first ever Stray Kids comeback. You've experienced the full SKZ effect, going through twenty different emotions in only 7 songs, and feeling each and every one to the fullest. It's impossible to rank the songs, but if I had to pick only two, that would be Cover Me and LALALALA rock version. What I like a lot is that they out Leave after Cover Me, both are sad songs, but Leave feels like a comforting hug after the very deep experience of Cover Me (makes me cry everytime). Cover Me was written by Hyunjin and Bang Chan (the duo that committed Red Lights), and Leave is a Changbin song (with Bang Chan as well). Both are my favourite SKZ songwriters, they excell in emotional songs. I had high hopes when they teased the tracklist with credits, and I am not disappointed.😊

The best thing about listening to Stray Kids albums is that there's always going to be AT LEAST one b-side that you love more than the title track even though the title tracks are always amazing. They don't get lazy with the b-sides, which I feel like a lot of groups do, and that just makes me appreciate them more
