Seungmin is an amazing vocalist and he worked hard for it. He always has vocal lessons even when they're busy, he even takes lessons outside of the company and now innie and lee know go with him ❤. Constantly record his lessons like a diary...our dandy boy ❤.
Their vocal teacher is such an ace. I can really hear a lot of improvements from Innie and Minho this comeback. Innie's vocals especially has grown so much.
I believe Han is also now taking lessons there as well, it's actually noticable that the way he sings on recent tracks is quite different to what he's done previously. So proud of them all for their dedication and desire to improve themselves.
I can already guess that you will love the live performance of Seungmin singing 'Love poem' from IU with Eunkwang (from BtoB), Jongho (from Ateez). The live performance is really amazing. It's on youtube and if you have the time then i would really recommend checking it out✨

An old SKZ flex is that they sent their rappers to King of Masked Singer. No one outside knew Changbin can sing like an angel, and they had no idea Han is a pure ace (even with only a couple hours of sleep, he nailed it). Well recently STAY heard the unmistakable voice of Seungmin too. He played dumb, but the recognition was instantly accepted as fact within Stayville because there's _no one_ else who sounds like him, and we were right. He did brilliantly, and the judges were convinced he was some thrice-divorced 30-year-old who'd lived through a million heartbreaks, based on his emotive singing. Anyway, all three -- Binnie, Han, and now Seungmin -- are worth checking out.
I personally got into Stray Kids through Seungmin. I saw SKZ perform on The First Take and I loved his voice so a searched more about him. That is how I got into SKZ and k-pop in general. Seungmin will always me my ult.

Until now, he has been taking vocal lessons - this video is a year ago and Seungmin has improved a lot since then 😭💓 What you said was really true and I totally agree that he may not be the most proficient range-wise (but he is impeccably exceptional within his range, as in it blows my mind) , but his voice is very magical that captivates every listener and touches deep down to the soul and heart. There are many amazing singers, and we should give them credit as well, but no one touches my innermost being like Seungmin does. His voice brings so much pain when he sings painful songs, yet gives so much comfort within him. I just have so much to say since it is Seungmin, he wasn't my bias when I started being a fan of SKZ, yet I was constantly amazed by his total being- his incredible vocals, unique personality, goofy behavior, stunning visuals, enormous talent and most of all hos relentless passion for music. Changbin and seungmin are my bias in skz and i hope you can react to them on masked singer their vocals 😭 also seungmins solo song stars and raindrops. Changbins song with felix called because on the same album. Plus piece of a puzzle with changbin and seungmin it wont disappoint 🥰
Seungmin has two solo osts so far: "Here Always" for Hometown Cha-cha-cha, and "Close to You" for Love in Contract. SKZ has several group osts as well, but the only one in a similarly emotional (albeit more rock-based) vein is "SLUMP," written by Han about his own issues and eventually used as the outro for Tower of God. (They also did the intro, "TOP," but it's a very different vibe.)
