Seungmin has a few solo songs! His solo songs are Stars and Raindrops on their Skz-Replay album and a recent song Hold On (written by Han). He also has a unreleased song that he performed on their recent Dome Tour.
He sang two OSTs: Here Always and Close To You. And he also has a few covers :)

Seungmin has performed an IU song before, LOVE POEM. It was in Kingdom. He collabed with JUNHO of ATEEZ and EUKWANG of BTOB.
If his duet with LEE MUJIN blew you away, hold onto your hat when you watch that one. It is truly iconic.

@NeonReactionsPierre When Eunkwang of BTOB, Jongho of Ateez and Seungmin had their first meeting, it was Seungmin who suggested Love Poem by IU, so he must be a big fan of hers. Their performance was beyond amazing and so goosebumps worthy. I can't wait for you to react to Stray Kids Kingdom performances including the Mayfly ones which was their collaboration with Ateez & BTOB.
@pauldesjardins1265 Seung-min once said that he suggested love poem as it was Hyunjins suggestion and as he was on hiatus he wanted to honour him. Even though he wasn't there, the boys had parts of him there such as jewellery.

This duet with SEUNGMIN is one of my favourite Lee Mujin Service duets because they actually harmonize, rather than just alternate lines, which happens in some episodes. And the song is made even better by their interpretation. I hope that when you eventually react to STRAY KIDS' LEVANTER you will come back to this Lee Mujin version and listen to it again - it is so different from the original and yet not. Happy Birthday Seungmin!

This cover of 'My Sea' (as well as a cover of IU's 'Love Poem' from Kingdom, in which Seungmin also participated) is one of my most played covers on YT. I can't do without revisiting it again and again! I'm addicted!
PS. You can also watch how Han from Stray Kids was with Lee Mujin! He's supposedly classed as a rapper, and he did great too! He even sang a cover of the song from Twice! And added his own spice to it!

Their versions of Love Poem makes me cry because: 1. It is just so well done that you feel every word as "true" & 2. How everyone's face lights up with love & watching their bandmates do such an amazing job

great reaction! Seungmin's episode was the 2nd ever episode of lee mujin service (he was the first boy group member guest on the show!) so the format is definitely very different from what it is now. Also some things like the impromptu mini cover right before the duet (in this case it was Heejae) was probably genuinely unplanned, unlike that section is now in the more recent episodes.
I also agree with your sentiment on high notes in male singers too tbh. It feels like especially in pop, male singers are expected to sing so out of their comfortable singing ranges and so a lot of times don't end up singing their best as a result. Its so unfortunate because I think their lower registers is often the strongest points ! I agree Seungmin's good at going back and forth and I'm glad he doesn't force himself to be up there all the time because his lower tone is beautiful.

When it came to this show...
Seungmin and Mujin have my heart in their teamwork and voice compatibility of their duet. And Seungmin when it caem to the level of difficulty and vulnerability he put out into the world with his episode. Honestly, his has to be some of my absolute favorite vocals I have heard from him outside of Kingdom and his solos. He TRULY proved why he was chosen for theirnm 2nd olny episode. ❤
Han though, his episode was spectacular to me because not only was he a rapper being hosted by show/stage meant for vocalists, he made sure that everyone knew he was there as a vocalist. Yes, he definitely proved that he WAS a rapper to, but be didnt focus on that. More importantly, he brought everything he was to that show. (Except the dancer in him lol.) He was a rapper (even when put o crhe spot to do a FREESTYLE), a vocalist (Even when put on the spot to show the rock band vocalist in him he inherited from his father), a lyricist (when he reworked Alcohol Free), a composer, and a producer (when their conversation turned into a real interview lol).
Even taking on the roll of a mood maker of a comedian and flirt (when Mujin could stop complimenting him which caused funny and flirty Han, out and shine brightly, causing the whole episode ro be much more that a performance. All the while, despite the anxiety Han felt being there and being without his members, he stole everyones heart with his beautiful smile, charm, people skills and rock star like performances. But most importantly, he stole Lee Mujins heat, and their chemistry together was light and teuly comfortable. Fhey vibed together very well indeed.
Meanwhile, I.N. just had my heart. Oir maknae put every ounce of his heart into his vocals and its truly emough to bring a tear to your eyes no matter the language you speak or your emotional stage when startjng the video. He is such a deep young man, i hope more and more people start to see what a special and important artist he is. Yeah, hes definitely upper register, unlike Han and Seungmin. But somehow, its perfect. Because that is where he's supposed to be.
After Felix, Han has the widest range in the group, followed by Seungmin. So both of them can give truly beautifully deep, soft vocals thay make up their lower range. Of course, Seungmin has a deeper placement to his original voice, while Hans is indeed a bit higher which is why he's so talented with comfortably holding high notes. He also only recently started taking vocal lessons. And up until then, including the year and a half he held the main vocalist position on top of main rapper and main producer, so that Seungmin could do his training. He had no real vocal training. In fact, when he did his episode on here, he still was purely self taunt. Which means i can only imagine what he will be capable of when he has a year of teaining under his belt as well. Point is, these three are so incredibly different from one another. But so perfectly them that it works great and always will.
OMG Literally every day, Seungmin's voice is a discovery for me, every time his vocals open up from a completely different side, I just will never stop being amazed and admired. How masterfully, beautifully and skillfully he owns his voice, his amazing stability and most importantly, the strength, power and range of diversity of his vocals. Seungmin from the "angelic voice" turned into a real diamond not only for STRAY KIDS but for the entire K-POP industry as a whole.
I CRIED during this ep. Seungmin pierced my heart with his vocals. Every song perfectly showcases our Seungmin!
The eps with Han and I.N are equally wonderful and draw out the same emotion.

As soon as you hear Seungmin's voice, your heart jumps out of your chest, your breath catches, and tears flow like a stream. And it's not just his great technique, excellent command of his voice, incredible strength and amazing range. His vocals are able to evoke emotions, give birth to feelings and touch the farthest corners of the heart, at the same time capturing your soul and no longer letting go. Not every vocalist is capable of this, but rather one in millions Seungmin's really unique voice. MORE THAN ANYTHING, I'M WAITING AND BEGGING FOR HIS SOLO ALBUM.

You asked if Seungmin has any solo projects out there.
He has some solo releases as a Stray Kid, but he has also sung some OSTs for a few K-dramas, and he was on the Korean Masked Singer show.
And on KINGDOM, he sang with the Team Mayfly vocal unit. He and members of ATEEZ and BtoB sang IU's song, Love Poem. It's a stunning performance.

I watched the reaction to the episode with Seungminni and remembered that I never had time to watch the full episode with I.N. (So much content and so little time). So I quickly corrected this) It was wonderful! The episode with Hannie is my favorite, I'm sure you'll like it when you watch it)

while I agree that singers shouldn't force themselves to be up there in high registers if it's unnatural/uncomfortable to them I don't think it should really be about the singer's gender. If a male singer feels comfortable in that register/has a wide range/has a naturally high voice then I don't see why they shouldn't go with that. What I'm trying to say is singers should be able to sing in whatever ways work for them regardless of where they are on the gender spectrum
Thank you so much... yes of course they should sing in whatever way they feel comfortable.... but for me high pitched male voices are just not pleasing at all if it takes up too much of the song. But then I am very much female voice oriented because they "touch" me more than a male voice can. I've been playing guitar and singing for fourty years now and move in the mid-register sometimes going up and sometimes going down.... That is the kind of male voice I can "feel" and relate to. A male voice has to sound "familiar" to me to be touching...
