Their street versions are some of my favorite videos of theirs! They had so much fun in them, even when the actions didn't match what they were singing about 😅. Just so you know, besides the album intros many of the albums also have trailers that are almost like mini movies that you might enjoy watching. They generally introduce the theme of the album and are released at least a month before the albums drop
What you will discover on this journey is that many B-sides are better than the title tracks and that there is no bad music. Interestingly, in all their MVs they also make a "Video making film" where they talk a little about the concept of the MV, show how the filming went, how certain things were done (For example, in the MV for maniac, that part where they they enter Lee Know's brain and the boys appear floating, I thought it was computer graphics, but they actually hung the boys and filmed it), etc.
The street videos are really fun! If you want to know more about the lore I recommend the album trailers and there is a lore explaining video (Stray kids: prequel - Highlight Reel) that stray kids have released (explaining parts of the lore). Don´t know if it helps much but it exists. The prequel video have short clips from other mv and stuff, I think this is the order of videos that´s in it: 1. Hellevator - MV 2. I am NOT - trailer 3. Awaken is my wake up alarm. So fitting and I love it. I would recommend checking out a fancam of concert footage of Awaken, the choreo is so fun. As far as I know, they only performed it in early concerts. I love all these songs. They did Rock during the Maniac tours! Changbin would do a one handed cartwheel after a solo dance break. :D So much fun!
Mirror is part of the lore, but the theme for the album was discovering yourself. And realizing that what society & authority want you to be isn't always who you are. This album was all about discovering what you aren't. And street videos are so fun, They just took the vlog cameras out into the street & had fun in whatever city they were in. I believe Rock was in Japan? It's a shame that they are too well known now to be able to do that.
