ingenious, I never tried using towels to soak up the water, I usually use a small straw to kinda sift the water into small paper cups and make a thousand trips to the farthest sink in my house, huge time saver!
You commentors are so rude !!! This guys videos are great.. He taught me how to make toast & use soap in the shower & thank GOD for the tutorial on breathing
This video does a pretty good job of steering one towards the possible problem, with the solutions keeping me from dissecting my washer myself and creating more than one issue.
HEY PAUL: Great Video man. I didn't know how to mop up water on the floor or carpet before I watched your informative video. But now I will be prepared for water I find on a linoleum floor or carpet. Thanks for the GREAT advice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you know, a lot of people on here are complaining that this did not help them at all. it helped me out because i have never had to do something like this. i might not hire a repair man because my husband might be able to do it. i don't have carpet near my washer so who cares about that part. what it did do was help me learn how to locate where the leak was coming from.
You should make a video on how to unplug a lamp. And then how to move the lamp to another room to plug it in again. I heard it can be done. I just need to know how.
Great video! Though I am very concerned about using multiple towels at once (like the towel-trained professional shown above). Is there any online resources for those tricky dual-towel techniques, a school perhaps? Nevertheless, this video has helped me completely repair not only my washer, but my reputation. Now my friends can feel confident about walking through my laundry room without having to take off their shoes. I'll subscribe WITH a thumbs up... god knows you've earned it.
@@christopherhendricks4369 I wouldn't be surprised if you're right. I'm also willing to bet that it wont come cheap. Elon Musk (Tesla, SpaceX, etc.) has finally released the TurboTowel500 on their website, however it's said to already be sold-out. If anyone that was involved in this video could reach out... I'm willing to start a GoFundMe campaign to get the advanced techniques out to the masses asap. God bless.
I noticed a lot of water this time probably at least 3 cups I think in the past it was a little bit of water. And I think it has to do like you said in balance because when it spins and even agitate the water is flowing like a whirlpool
You sure did get your rump chewed. However I too know how to clean up water from floor but I also used the news paler trick you suggested and worked out wonderfully for me as you also suggested where to look on several scenarios so I very much appreciated this very clear and to the point video. Suzanne Hamilton
well, i thought i wasted my time on this video but it was rewarded with the comments. thank you commentators thank you for helping me to smile and not go hulk on this and you king shaman, i want to see your you tube video when you used that plastic skillet
thanks for telling me how to find where the leak may b coming from can i still put the paper in the recycle bin once iv discovered where the actual leak is or is that in your next video
Really??? Do you think we are stupid and we haven't Done this stuff!! Come on!! I'll go to the next video that TELLS ME HOW to fix it! If I wanted to pay someone I wouldn't be on RUclips!
I'm going to leave my unmentionables in the washer for the repairman. It's a Maytag, those guys don't get out much, this will give them a story to talk about at the pub.
I have a stackable Wash/Dryer and I am having leaks in the middle of the Washer. It only leaks when the cloths are washing, not during spinning ONLY during the Washing Cycle. I have a feeling it may be the Center Post gasket. I have video of it leaking on both sides. If anyone has any ideas of a quick fix (stop leak or anything that may be able to seal up the seal(s) that maybe leaking) I'd appreciate it. Thank you again.
He was really pushing getting a repair man in to do ther work, what about the do it yourselfers who can do this and save a few dollars. He didn't address those people's needs in this either. I agree with you, we all know if the washer is leaking we need to clean up the water...he is a bit of a idiot.
Psshhh I’m not paying a ton of money to have some guy come over and tell me I need an expensive part. Lifeprotip: do some research and you can fix it yourself. I replaced my leaky machine in less than an hour and it was just a $35 water pump.
Hi. I'm Paul from repair.com and I'm here to waste a few minutes of your day. If your washer is leaking, dry up the water and call someone to fix it. Well, this has been a great video and I hope the misleading title didn't infer you'd actually learn something by watching it.
glad to know literally every person in the comments are not funny the guy is just trying to inform people about what to do for your leaking washer yeah the first half of the video is about drying up stuff, but he still touches on the fact of how to best inform your repair guy(if you get one) on what kind of leak is going on and to people who insist on repairing it yourself, go ahead, see how that fairs you doubt you're a professional and DIYing mechanical repairs is just going to fuck up your washer even more just let the guy inform people, regardless of how common sense it sounds, he's not hurting anyone not everyone is gonna know common sense don't act like you weren't a child still learning about the world once, you at some point had little to no common sense too

I didn't come here to be told that a 'qualified professional' can fix it. I WANT TO FIX IT!
Thanks. Your video was as useful as a plastic skillet.

I'm so glad you told me to clean up water on the floor, never would have thought of that. Where were you when I spilled some milk?
Very helpful but I couldn't get the towels to work right. Maybe post another video on how to use a towel
If I was looking for a video in reference to cleaning up water, this video would be the one I need!

Thank you for commenting on the video, rather than what you IMAGINED the video should be.

Probably the most useful thing I have ever seen...
Qualified professional= real man

I hear he's working on proper towel drying for the non skilled such as us. It's a complex process and will likely need to be a 3 part video

billow not billiy door seal auto correct should of corrected his video
My washer leaks at the spin cycle. Would the pump be causing this??

News paper tricks much like cardboard under the car to check for leaks and where they came from. Nice!!!

Fascinating, use a towel for any leaks, wow
thanks for telling me how to find where the leak may b coming from can i still put the paper in the recycle bin once iv discovered where the actual leak is or is that in your next video
Wow, I feel like I just got Rick Rolled! That was non helpful.
I noticed you used a peach towel to clean up water. I only have white towels. Will a white towel identify the leak? Please advise
What about a leak from the front of the washing machine? Top load type w/agitator.....tia
My washer is leaking brown fluid inside the washer it has ruined some clothes is it a home fix or do i need a repair person
Really??? Do you think we are stupid and we haven't

Seriously, I'm not asking how to soak up water! Oh forget it.
This dude didn't tell me shit I didn't already know
Looking for some fixes not sales pitches
The first minute of this video explains how to clean up the water.
Is that really what you thought I wanted to know?!?!
No way! Everything I needed to know on how to soak up water 🤣 was this a troll videp? Lol!
I have to agree with most reviewers of this video and say that it was utterly useless.
Is this video about a washer or wet carpet.?
if it leaks, it should be empty of water right?
videos this idiotic should not only be illegal but their creators punished
Thanks for teaching me how to dry up water, never thought of that......gee whiz
To all of you who are complaining. No where in the title or description of this video does it say "how to fix".
Nor does anywhere in the description does it say how do you soak up water or how to explain what you need to do with the issue or mold control etc
Not helpful at all. Did not search for "how to soak up water on the floor."...
Thank You!!!!❤

“ it may be time to invest in that new washing machine you had your eye on”......Yeah, that was first thing in my list but when I win the lottery
good to know I just wasted my time learning nothing 😡👍👍
***** wtf

Get to the point! , i know how to wipe up water.
Awesome video. The entire first half is about the carpet! #FML
In summary your washer leaks you're out of luck is the point of the video
Now my towel needs washed in the leaking washer will this cycle ever end
Although this video is a total waste of time, the comments are priceless, thanks 🤣🤣🤣
Wow, just wow...
Good information
Oooh, a man handling a basket full of laundry... This IS a useful video.
If youtube recommends you this video, you know there are some people that don't want you good on this world

Please do not watch, what a waste of time!
Now I know what to do--Do not call this guy!
Newspaper is a good idea to check but I shouldn’t have a leak if they installed it yesterday
Useless video. At least now I know how to clean up water on the floor. My mom never taught me that.
Funniest sheet ever!! Shud be called how to clean leaked water on floor!
Agree with all - an asinine video that helps no one ever
See water draining from the front bottom coming from the top of the motor
Good tips
This video teach me more how to dry a carpet than how to fix it lol
mine doesn't leak while the washing is happening its about an hour later ?>
uh.... more proof common sense has left the building

That was a waste... How do you report videos like this?
Was this about drying a wet carpet or fixing a leak. Good lord
this is a video about cleaning your wet floor.not a help about a broken washing machine
Captain Obvious from Appliances, please come to the front desk.
TBF the newspaper tip is actually useful
If this guy represents repair.com I wouldn't even bother
Hey you ain’t teach me nothing 😂

just let the guy inform people, regardless of how common sense it sounds, he's not hurting anyone
not everyone is gonna know common sense
don't act like you weren't a child still learning about the world once, you at some point had little to no common sense too
I must watch again--I cant figure out how to dry the floor.
Use towels?!? Omg… and to think I was just rolling in it preying for it to stop. What to do if your washing machine leaks: get a new washing machine 😊
Anyone remember when expertvillage was loaded with "useful" videos like this?
Really!!! I want you to teach me how to fix my washer machine not to place newspaper under lol
How to insult the public without insulting the public.
New washers suck just fix your old machine dude. It’s worth it
"Consider renting a professional drying fan." I also rented another house to live in while the repairs were taking place.
beautiful, hows that holding up 8 years later?
