Yes,i think it was Swinburn's best Derby ride too.I remember it was then the fastest ever Derby and i think with a once run horse he did the right thing to sit off the pace.
He was 50 to 1 before they announced a jockey soon as Walter was announced his price went to 16 to 1 on breeding he was the best in the race the price was high for he first time out in the that year that was unheard-of to come and win first time out the 2 races after the Derby he was never odds on favourite but never odds on i made good return on in those 3 races believe me lamtarra paid half what was left of my mortgage
It's strange to think this but I believe we never saw Llammtara at his best yet he won 3 of the greatest races and retired unbeaten.
