Thanks for the instructions. I would add a few more: Disconnect the power before changing an electrical part. Turn off the water at the valve that connects to the dishwasher to prevent flooding when you pull the unit in case the hose breaks. Check the length of the water and electrical lines to make sure you have an extra 6 inches when pulling the dishwasher partially out to access the door latch. If not, disconnect whatever you need to. And finally, mark the current location of the upper tabs to more easily align the small screws after you push the dishwasher back in
I've replaced many of these, I've never turned off the power (it's 13.5 VDC, you can't get electrocuted lol), shut off the water, or made any markings, DIYers are silly lmao.

I've never had to adjust the legs or remove the upper rack when replacing this switch.
