Robert Bleazard Orientations are held in Tulsa, Oklahoma Birmingham, Alabama and Masury, Ohio depending on where you live. Whichever one is closest to you, thats the one they will send you to.
On average, thats not possible. An achievable weekly gross average is probably gonna be around $1200-$1300 for an experienced driver. Taxes are 30% (doesn't include benefits) so if you gross $1300, your net pay (take home) will be approximately $900.
@@truckwithus2477 taxes are 30%???????? What?? Is it the state tax? Like if I'm living in Florida. But working for melton. I'm charged taxes for the state the company is operated from?
I think you guys great even though I have no intention on being a truck driver but I love to see them on the road as a kid with all the fancy lights & come wheels LOL..
All trucks are fully equipped except for the t660s that dont have refrigerators. I would say about 90% of the fleet is t680s and we do have some frieghtliners but like the t660s there aren't many of them. They may not even be assigning the t660s out anymore. There are still some manuals around but most of the fleet is automatic. We have a manual and our last truck was a manual so it's just the luck of the draw. I also went to Birmingham for orientation and they don't have a ton of trucks there.
So if we have all our endorsements plus we're an experienced driver and passport and TWIC and you're saying $0.56 a mile. Is it $0.56 a mile because we hold all of those endorsements or you get those extra $0.06 only if you're doing a Hazmat load or going into Canada or carrying a tote because you have your tanker endorsement. So is it normally $0.50 a mile if it's just a regular load and then you get extra $0.06 if you happen to get a Hazmat load?
