LOL dude this video slaps so hard. The intro and then transition from the chaotic debates to you flying over 50 kph on the VOW.. just.. *muah* stroke of genius.
The first 2:30 seconds of this video is simply one of the best one wheel videos ever. I'm not saying the rest isn't relevant. Not at all, it's just that before Stanley even gives the iconic 'What's up nerds?' which, thank you, is also perfect, he has managed to not only wow us with some super tight editing, beautiful overlays, and a true look at what must be so confusing to the casual observer, the way forward. In other words, eliminate the noise, sharpen the moment, and drop the buzz, we are moving onward. I just love it. Past Motion may well be marginally moving forward, but the community is not waiting. With no service centers, and island nations that are long use to going it on their on, VOW is but one of the many small pockets of energy fueling safety (really, this has to be the safest board ever)while improving on lazy designs. Imagine what VOW could do if they could CNC their own parts? An XR style platform with just ever so thicker sides, and drop down foot pads, good ford, there is no end in sight. 2024 is my year to go VESC. There is no turning back. aoxo ahead.

@@sdmods619 Nico is using a custom script to transform his logs to work with goprotelemetryextractor.
VOW is using an unreleased floaty feature I made for generating the overlays directly from the log csv data.

@garrymullins Yeah for Nico and VOW, this involves getting ride logs, reformatting that data for use with a program called Telemetry Overlay, timing it all up, and overlaying it in Premiere. It's not easy, and would probably need someone to do it for you. Siwoz is working on a simplified version through Floaty.
Dado does it way easier via audio sync and Luma key via Premier but not as customizable.

Holy shit! Finally, a onewheel that has comparable power and speed to an electric unicycle! Like seriously, this board is even faster than all old gen KingSong EUCs (pre-S18), and even some of the current-gens too, I’m honestly amazed! Keep up the good work ❤

Sweet! Keep up the good work. Love to see your progress, you are pushing that board to the limits. Very interested in the GT frame builds since the Pint X board just feels like a toy and the GT frame is a solid board frame for me to build on. Was not in the game when XR came out, and never rode one so don't have anything to compare that to.

@@MrDmadness Would love to try one as the GTS and PintX are the only two options I have right now and before I got them I have never seen a onewheel before. Been riding board sports all my life and picked up on the onewheel in no time. In about 3 days there was nothing I could not do on it, or at least nothing that I wanted to be able to do at least. :) At least nothing that I felt like the board could handle, that is why I started looking at mods (rails, tires, hubs) I only ride trails so I will have to start looking for an XR to try and see if it is something I like. So far the GTS is good but I really want to try my WTF S&D rails to see if they will make a difference on my trails. My trails are more technical than casual and are very hilly. Lots of ups and downs and sharp turns. They used to be for my mountain bike before I got in to the OW. Did the XR have good low end torque to being able to climb and handle roots and what nots in the trails?
@@MrDmadness Just watched your vid from last month and it looks like it rides great. Those are my trails without the rocks so much and much more under brush.
@@TimsTown stock xr you have to work at climbs, but a vesced xr is super powerful and feels more bottom stable and nimble ino. I ride rails mostly, like yourself I ride mtb also

Do you have a channel on Discord? I want to build a vesc board but the xr platform still gives me range anxiety. Love the idea of utilizing the GT platform. Utilizing the 24s2p battery with SF HT would be bonkers for hill climbs and range!
