Impressive design of the split pack! How is the thermal for the controller, dado had thermal problem with the tronic250 on an extreme hill claim. Wonder how your thermal would be compared to the thor300 with their box!

It is running warmer than any of my other builds, but still in acceptable range, I did not manage to over heat it yet. Meaning on my 20S Lfoc Hypercore design I was overheating the motor first when doing crazy uphill trails. On this design Tronic + SF on the same trails I don't overheat anything. But yes, the Tronic is slowly approaching it's max limit when pushed hard for a long time. While the temp dissipation is fast, so when you stop you see the temperature dropping fast. Also this results are from my prototype board, since then I added some extra mass on the controller plate, so I don't expect problems. I'll check if the Thor fits and if someone wants to give it a try I can make controller plates with holes for Thor as well.

@@VXwheelwhat do you think of the vow’s controller in cannon core ? I think it’s good idea except if heat is an issue on long uphill climb.

@@wayofflow955 Yes, I like the idea but if thermals don't work out well, there is no point for it.. I would love to test it myself, but not right now.

@@VXwheel love your front controller box design with split packs and controller. I do worry about the battery crushing the controller, how do you secure the pack so it never hit the controller? I want to build a 27s 2170cell but fitting that is almost impossible.

@@wayofflow955 My front battery packs have a slight deep slot, and are pressed down with the lid. So there is no way they can move from it's slot as they would need to go up first. Similar in the back, just not so tight.

    I guess it is a Tonic 250R inside ?

Yes, Tronic 250R. Forgot to mention this.. it will be in the next video.

Parts are now available if you want to assemble it the DIY way. Prices are on discord with link in description. If you don't use discord send me an email, also in description.
My target is providing parts, while if you want a full board to buy, reach out on email for details. It may be possible, but expect long lead times.
