Not to mention, some get 100+ mile range at this onewheel top speed, real bike suspension and tire options if u don't like the stock, etc. With full 2 year warranty not voided by mods.
I agree ‘ I’m glad I purchased a euc instead of a one wheel. I still think one wheels are cool. But the range and speed of an INMOTION v8s and the price point. It’s a no brainer.
I ride both eucs and onewheels, daily, for years. they're different, it's beyond stupid to compare in that manner. worst thing about eucs - the community, bunch of noobs
For a 24s2p pack, you have 24 cell groups connected in series, and each of these groups consists of 2 cells connected in parallel (48 cells total). This is opposed to the GTS's 27s1p pack, which just has 27 cells connected in series (27 cells total). The number of cells connected in series determines voltage, so GTS is higher voltage than this VOW setup (113V vs 100V). However, since the VOW's pack has groups of 2 cells in parallel, this allows twice the possible current discharge rate compared to if it was 1p. For FM, their 1p pack makes the most sense, as they pretty heavily limit current anyways (likely for reliability and headroom compared to the spec'd limitations of the hardware/connectors used), so they wouldn't be able to take advantage of greater current discharge rates. However, for a VESC-based build like the VOW here, we can take full advantage of the higher discharge rate of a 2p pack, enabling much greater potential torque, especially when used with a motor that can handle much greater current such as the Superflux. The VOW's pack having many more cells total also makes for a much greater battery capacity overall, nearly double the GTS due to the actual cells used being higher capacity as well. Obviously at the trade-off of weight, though with the pack being split and some cells being in the front, it's luckily not overly tail-heavy despite the added weight.
For anyone trying to understand S and P on a battery: 4S would mean 4 batteries in series. Series batteries add up their voltage. So, 4 12V batteries in series would give you the same voltage as a 48V batter. But, the max amperage draw would stay the same. That's why you want things in parallel. If you have 4P, or 4 batteries in parallel(let's stick with 12V batteries), and each has a maximum amperage output of like 5 amps, then in 4P you would still have the equivalent of a 12V battery but it would allow you to draw up to 20 amps. So, the benefit of 2P, as he mentioned is he can draw higher amperage. Also, the fac tthat it's 27S2P means he's got 27x2 little battery cells in there. So there's 54 little battery cells in there!
Yeah, my V14 is faster than this thing, and it's not known for its speed...actually the opposite, it's kind of ridiculed for being a slow EUC, pretty sure I could out accelerate this thing even on a 30 degree upslope.
For those actually wondering: increasing the “S” of a battery (literally, the number of batteries linked positive to negative) increases the voltage and therefore top speed. Increasing the “P” of the battery (literally, the number of batteries hooked negative to negative, positive to positive) increases the capacity of the battery and therefore range of the wheel.
That's not completely true. Adding double the amount of cells in Series or parallel, will both increase range by the same. Parallels allows for more Amps/torque, series' increase volts which increase max RPM/speed. Amount of total cells give you your range

Future motion is quickly taking notes… I predict in 2024 they will release the GT S+ now with 190volts and still can’t curb nudge like a 60v vesc. Oh and it will be 5k and have 6 miles of range when new.
clickbait title.. lol.. EUCs can cruise comfortably at 40+mph nowadays which blows away even a 100V VESC build. however, VESC development and the advancement has come quite a long way and it is still impressive what's been done.. the smaller form is still limiting on how much batteries you can fit though. nonetheless, glad to see how far things have gone.
This board answers a lot of concerns I had regarding my XR, but it's far from crushing EUCs. I ride a MSP, I hit 44 mph, and the wheel is quite old. new ones are so much more safe and fast. I appreciate the video tho, the Onewheel is not really made to reach these kinds of speeds anyways, but the torque, the peace of mind and range make it a very interesting Onewheel.. Way to go Futuremotion !
I ride a GT and a VESC and anything mid 20's or higher gets me nervous. I never want to go that fast, even with TAC gear, but it's nice to know it can without dumping the rider.

So..... if you're getting a top speed in the high 20s low 30s..... how do you claim that as "crushing EUCs? I get low 40s easy on my EUC and the inmotion v13 pro can do over 50...... im not seeing hownthis board is faster than that

clickbait title..
Dream board!
GIMME THAT RANGE VIDEO
That VOW board is crazy. Makes me want an XR split pack someday
This is one of those moments where I have changed my mind about needing only pants airbag and now decide to get both top/bottom airbags.
"CRUSHES Electric Unicycles" ahem
This board answers a lot of concerns I had regarding my XR, but it's far from crushing EUCs. I ride a MSP, I hit 44 mph, and the wheel is quite old. new ones are so much more safe and fast.
I appreciate the video tho, the Onewheel is not really made to reach these kinds of speeds anyways, but the torque, the peace of mind and range make it a very interesting Onewheel.. Way to go Futuremotion !
This was so entertaining 😂 love it
Wow that is unreal! Yes range test for sure !!
Nico let me try this board yesterday at the shop. I had no idea it was capable of this lol
this onewheel is CRANKED UP, looks super fun
Range test would be cool! That was some crazy speed!
I ride a GT and a VESC and anything mid 20's or higher gets me nervous. I never want to go that fast, even with TAC gear, but it's nice to know it can without dumping the rider.
haha 😅 I can feel you Jeff. great video and brave top speed attempts. now back to some chilled street cruisin 😎🤙
Dude, Stanley is the fuckin' man and this build is absolutely crazy. Cannot wait for the range test and hope to see more vesc content from you guys 🤙
The new intro is so fire🔥
It is, and I wonder about the tech drawings, almost a Lia vibe there. . .
WHOA! YOUR ANIMATED LOGO IS CRAZY! LUV IT!
My Cincinnati homie representing!!!
Get Bart on that thing. He doesn't give af
As a heavy rider, 230lbs, what's the best tune for a floatwheel adv? Haven't messed with it a bunch still getting used to the vesc and have 3 years of FM XR to break out of
Man i tried tellin everyone about ole dude a year ago and Nicos tha man ... I was just talkin about how someone needs to come out with a nico design board all his eyedeas and mind set given the war between FM anf Floatwheel the Nicowheel would be a perfect offset and somthin all the real riders can appreaciate
So..... if you're getting a top speed in the high 20s low 30s..... how do you claim that as "crushing EUCs? I get low 40s easy on my EUC and the inmotion v13 pro can do over 50...... im not seeing hownthis board is faster than that
Cool on a flat road. If there is a bump, it's ready. Also not for gravel roads or off-road. No comparison with EUC. But great device, Bravo
Dude did that tire expand because of the free spin speed. Maybe the compound is too soft for those kinds of speeds
I was scared watching this.. Adrenaline building.. Like watching a crazy parkour dude at crazy heights this also gave me similar feels watching Geoff going so fast bro!
VOW U A GOD
TAC diapers needed ASAP for pooping pants at those speeds!
Im a euc extreme rider but just got a ow gt and I love it Its different. I feel more at ease on the onewheel and its more planted feeling off road versus the euc. They both are awesome. Lets not forget a esk8 longboard with some orangutan 85mm wheels, thats some sick fun also.
"I got that tingle in my balls" is too relatable! Ahahahah how I ride when I leave at 10:82 to be at work for 11am 😂😂😂
Man my palms were getting sweaty on some of those speed pushes.
Same
Absolutely bonkers! I have a pint which has been broken for a long time now and these vesc s builds are something else.
Prob not something to be proud of, but my board is still heaviest so far! Switchblades, RGB halos, bangs, Kiil suspension, 18s2p me4t pack, av/elm box.
51 lbs 😱
Sheesh!!!
Camera man be like yeah cool man thats wild😂 30mph wow😂😂😂
Close your eyes, and you will be able to imagine Conan O'Brian reviewing a onewheel.
Ya let's see the range test
stanley my goat
Finally a board for big guys, Can we get a Full package of the parts and instructional video to assemble for that board?, looking forward to range test
YUS! This is super duper exciting. Way to go Nico! 🫡🫶🙏🫡
