As a guy who rides electric unicycles..... This should be interesting
they're so behind the voltage race
@@ouncesmusicwhat 11-12” tire EUC comes close to this or even GTS performance?
Completely different form factor already, but on top of that comparing it to the biggest heaviest EUCs seems pointless 🤷♂️
@@ouncesmusicwho?
He’s lying. EUCs can easily crush this thing.
lmao let it all out man, i didnt even make the comparison or mention a paticular EUC, its in the clickbait title and thumbnail, but i was thinking the mcm5 was doing 30s easy and thats 84v max, not to mention the mtens have always had better performance metrics until vesc and even thats not widespread enough, its gonna be okay, no one is taking your wheel away, it's still to slow@@kylevanness6182
So first, YES FOR THE RANGE TEST!
Second, BEYOND excited to see Stanley's board further along in development and not only being globally recognized, but tested by the best from across the ocean.
Keep pushing into new territories family. It's a phenomenal time to Be ALIVE!
I Am ecstatic! Thank you all.
As an EUC rider this is more like my off road high speed. And I am not fast…😂 Have fun, get better safety gear!
Seriously, 32 mph was a few years ago for EUCs. NO HATE. I'm glad you onewheel boys are finally hacking your boards for real power. A manufacturer shouldn't tell us how to operate our equipment or if we can repair or modify it.
I agree saying ''CRUSHES Electric Unicycles'' is too much in the video description, i ride my old RS19 to 60kmh (37mh) and still do 80 km (50m) range... With my Lynx this is way off this chart as i did 88kmh (55mh) and still do an even better range than the RS19.... So maybe it crushes the low end EUC but not many bought those. **Also EUC don't need down hill to get to that speed.
You're going 20+ MPH on something significantly more likely to throw you than a bike. It's time for a full face helmet
& for whatever reason these things like to just stop randomly, with a charged battery
The random stop is when you've been exceeded factory top speed you'll here it beeping I didn't know this first time I dvdr rode one super maned thst hoe like a cartoon character
@@marquisethomas5611wtf that is so sketchy
@@eugenef0zzy it happened to them goonzquad boys twice
You new around here?
I didn't come from snowboarding or skateboarding, I put 6,000 miles on a Onewheel GT it was great but I wanted more speed so I got an EUC and I'm loving it way more 🤙🏽
Wouldn’t have been able to film this without an EUC! They’re rad, we just like to ride all of the things
@@TheFloatLifeglad you guys love riding and I love to watch you- came from OW and also love EUCs now- but 100v is nothing these days- and 40 mph is not fast for EUC anymore especially with 134-168v wheels now. Keep floating friends
Same. Nothing compares to EUC.
Both are excellent!
This is so amazing.. thanks to that haptic buzz I can’t ride my xr comfortably anymore.. I use to hit on the regular 19mph- 20mph and now I get stopped at 16.9 mph can’t even go 17mph
If there’s anything I can do to my xr to bring it back to life I would
I did 30 miles on my EUC and ended on 80% battery the other day. The worst EUC crushes the best onewheel, easy.
'cept euc's are lame
What EUC and average speed?
@@mofiiyah820 Sounds like a master pro
I agree ‘ I’m glad I purchased a euc instead of a one wheel. I still think one wheels are cool. But the range and speed of an INMOTION v8s and the price point. It’s a no brainer.
:) the first time Stanley rode that thing out on group ride he stayed right in the middle of a pack of EUCs and kept up at 32mph up n' down mountain bikepaths, nuts!
As a dude that rides EUC, this board is adorable 😂
Same. I hit 36 on my v12 ht often. If It could go fast I would. V13 hits 55.
Who covered Jeff in peanut butter?
Best comment so far
dressing like that is mandatory when you're.....nuts.

On his way to his Janitorial side job
veteran sherman max rider here. much respect for the boarders. that said, gear up! in a bail at speed the side stance you take almost guarantees nasty impacts, broken shoulders and/or heads. I don't think pushing one wheel to those speeds is safe, but we do what we like. be safe.
For those actually wondering: increasing the “S” of a battery (literally, the number of batteries linked positive to negative) increases the voltage and therefore top speed.
Increasing the “P” of the battery (literally, the number of batteries hooked negative to negative, positive to positive) increases the capacity of the battery and therefore range of the wheel.
the more P (parallel) you have the more S (serial) that you can sustain
It's Series and Parallel wiring.
Dress for the slide not the ride ! Bro this is wild ! You guys are the best
6'3 240lbs. I'd race ya with my LK Lynx any day! ?;^)
These guys are hilarious. They're like they Amish talking about their horse and buggies not acknowledging that cars exist. The cars being the vastly superior electric unicycles. So enthused about an 850wh battery was particularly funny. That's a tiny beginner battery on an euc.
Right. A standard inmotion V12HS would smoke that board like a cigarette. I wonder how it would compare to a custom built V12. 😂
For anyone trying to understand S and P on a battery: 4S would mean 4 batteries in series. Series batteries add up their voltage. So, 4 12V batteries in series would give you the same voltage as a 48V batter. But, the max amperage draw would stay the same. That's why you want things in parallel. If you have 4P, or 4 batteries in parallel(let's stick with 12V batteries), and each has a maximum amperage output of like 5 amps, then in 4P you would still have the equivalent of a 12V battery but it would allow you to draw up to 20 amps. So, the benefit of 2P, as he mentioned is he can draw higher amperage. Also, the fac tthat it's 27S2P means he's got 27x2 little battery cells in there. So there's 54 little battery cells in there!
Crushed EUC’s lol that’s cute
Stan the man ❤🎉
36.9 damn that was fine! Just please guys, I ride motorcycles and I highly suggest sharing a closed helmet so you don't fall and tear your faces off when you finally do break 40 😂
Dude, 36 mph is insane.
Yes, let’s see the range test! 🎉
Thank you Jeff, Nico, VOW and the Float Life crew for all you do for growing the onewheel community .
Super psyched to put one of those boards in the quiver... Hopefully soon.
You guys ROCK?
860 WH and 45 MPH freespin? I think even my small EUC is safe for a long time. hahaha
Before i get any further. The way it topped out on the free spin instantly is impressive.
Honestly, was looking forward to Nicos battery description until it was blurred out. Appriciate the simplification, but let that man speak : )
For a 24s2p pack, you have 24 cell groups connected in series, and each of these groups consists of 2 cells connected in parallel (48 cells total). This is opposed to the GTS's 27s1p pack, which just has 27 cells connected in series (27 cells total).
The number of cells connected in series determines voltage, so GTS is higher voltage than this VOW setup (113V vs 100V). However, since the VOW's pack has groups of 2 cells in parallel, this allows twice the possible current discharge rate compared to if it was 1p. For FM, their 1p pack makes the most sense, as they pretty heavily limit current anyways (likely for reliability and headroom compared to the spec'd limitations of the hardware/connectors used), so they wouldn't be able to take advantage of greater current discharge rates. However, for a VESC-based build like the VOW here, we can take full advantage of the higher discharge rate of a 2p pack, enabling much greater potential torque, especially when used with a motor that can handle much greater current such as the Superflux.
The VOW's pack having many more cells total also makes for a much greater battery capacity overall, nearly double the GTS due to the actual cells used being higher capacity as well. Obviously at the trade-off of weight, though with the pack being split and some cells being in the front, it's luckily not overly tail-heavy despite the added weight.
@@nicoaleman NICE! Appriciate it man!
Dude, Stanley is the fuckin' man and this build is absolutely crazy. Cannot wait for the range test and hope to see more vesc content from you guys 🤙
Yes please range test FTW!
I'm getting excited for my own board that's in Stanley's hands 🫣😮😎
👀
Range video and hill climb video plssss. Sick work vow. Keep it up.
Jeff with the balls of steel out here
So stoked to see Nico onboard with you guys! Also stoked to visit when I'm in Sac next week!
You should wear full face helmets at those speeds, as well as other gear. Stay safe.
GIMME THAT RANGE VIDEO
Hell yea VOW!
Man i tried tellin everyone about ole dude a year ago and Nicos tha man ... I was just talkin about how someone needs to come out with a nico design board all his eyedeas and mind set given the war between FM anf Floatwheel the Nicowheel would be a perfect offset and somthin all the real riders can appreaciate
"CRUSHES Electric Unicycles" ahem
Dream board!
Wow that is unreal! Yes range test for sure !!
This is incredible, perfect video guys, next time i'll be there myself
If you're after boards of VOW design, reach out for a chat :))
Sidenote, I take no responsibility for loose hub bolts after Jeff level bonks 😂
Do you ship full boards to the US? 😍
Loosey goosey 😝
@@sylrideryou have to build it yourself
Too bad I don’t have the skills for that 😅
@@sylrider one day you will if you don’t give up 🤙
👏 Yeh I’ve seen that board fly past me uphills. It’s super floaty and smooth as as well.
The loose hub bolts killed me dead. Omgg
Jeff, are you planning to sell all of the VESC parts so we can build our own version of this?
this 🎯
Great video. Very impressed with the microphones not picking up the wind noise. The camera man is excellent.
You rock 💕
Sick!! Very stoked, was thinking something along those lines for a VESC build, now I'm sold! Please do a distance test
That VOW board is crazy. Makes me want an XR split pack someday
Ya let's see the range test
Sick!!! That looks absolutely terrifying 😂
Woohoo! This is the year of 24S, I've been saying it all along!
This is one of those moments where I have changed my mind about needing only pants airbag and now decide to get both top/bottom airbags.
Where's Nico's part????? Yes on range. No on me building one, but it does get you thinking. I just love the XR platform to much. I've been riding a GT off and on last couple of weeks, and even the customer said when he came and picked it up: ' ...man, I forgot how awesome the XR is...' Love video's like this. More VESC, more Nico, oh, and how about that opening on VOW's video????
that opening indeed 🤌🏾✨️
Haha I could only get 33.7mph before the wobbles got too sketchy to me, haven't ridden a more square tire like that OG Enduro in a long time and maybe dropped a bit too much pressure 😅
@@nicoaleman He's really innovating down there isn't he? His work on the XR platform and battery boxes I've been watching w a lot of interest.
I'm 49, 240 lbs and topped out at 26 mph on my gts which was hair raising. But you guys make me wanna put in a special order for this board 😅
Dude, hell yeah, I was cheering you on!
yooo you guys are a bunch of mad scientists out there... love how you all are pushing the tech and showcasing this info. next level
Doing Nico dirty during the excellent detailed explanation of battery s and p meaning. :D
Would totally be up for some serious Nico tech talk on any subject related to the wheel.
What is the cameraman riding? Props for keeping up with these guys while filming. Also, love this pairing: Jeff and Nico! 🤙
Same
Looks like a begode T4 to me. 30+mph euc with double the battery as standley's beast but 50e so its voltage dips are worse. I've ridden my T4 with Stanley and they are different but in the same ballpark imo.
Yes range test please, I agree mental block on top speed is definitely a thing. Currently have a 18s2p superflux V1 and still cannot bring myself to go over 23mph (horrible nosedive at 22mph when I was learning on the XR). Average speed is much higher though and Higher voltage really feels safer (on lower speeds,).
Holly crap I've just watched this for the 2nd time, you are crazy that is scary fast!!
Hell yeah bout time onewheels get some actual cruising speed!
Good to see, Nico. Miss ya already buddy.
Same to you bro 🫡
I just got an euc because I rode the onewheel and didn't vibe with it as much because of lack of control compared to euc and segway mini however alot of people ride them in town and I dig the variety so this type of advancement only means euc gang has to step up. I personally feel PEV wins period!!!
I like someone pushing the boundaries. But, how does this crush elective unicycles again? This units free speed is the newest euc real life speed. The newest are pushing 168 volts. Not to mention, some get 100+ mile range at this onewheel top speed, real bike suspension and tire options if u don't like the stock, etc. With full 2 year warranty not voided by mods.
My Cincinnati homie representing!!!
Range test would be cool! That was some crazy speed!
Do you guys offer your vesc profiles for download? I've got a floatwheel adv and was curious if this was an option. thanks!
Great that you guys got this build!
So imo you guys made 1 mistake. Put low-rider rails on it!
My dream plan was for this year to build this board before a big event here in Hungary. Sadly i would need more time to get all the money for it so i will stay with a 20s2p XR platform but that's another story. The point is a thought about this build a lot and for this build the best rails would be the low-rider for sure. If only there would be an extended version too... oh boi... that would solve the tire rub with any tire on it.
The XR build will get something like this tho, steep and deep extended and a half & half axle to lower it. Will be very stable over anything and safe to push to the board limits.
Yeah I hear ya. There are Steeps on it right now so low riders would make it killer on street
@@TheFloatLife Exactly. Maybe even solves the tire rub problem cause everything will be lower but not sure
this is super interesting! Do any of you ride a VESC GT? How do I go about converting a GT to VESC? Is there more to it than just a different controller?
stanley my goat
Nico let me try this board yesterday at the shop. I had no idea it was capable of this lol
Scary fast
The new intro is so fire🔥
It is, and I wonder about the tech drawings, almost a Lia vibe there. . .
Thats a sweet ride.
Future motion is quickly taking notes… I predict in 2024 they will release the GT S+ now with 190volts and still can’t curb nudge like a 60v vesc. Oh and it will be 5k and have 6 miles of range when new.
Dude did that tire expand because of the free spin speed. Maybe the compound is too soft for those kinds of speeds
haha 😅 I can feel you Jeff. great video and brave top speed attempts. now back to some chilled street cruisin 😎🤙
Love this content❤
Nice intro!!
Sick intro forsure
this onewheel is CRANKED UP, looks super fun
I'll be sold after the range test no doubt
We want a range test!
I ride a GT and a VESC and anything mid 20's or higher gets me nervous. I never want to go that fast, even with TAC gear, but it's nice to know it can without dumping the rider.
This was so entertaining 😂 love it
This board answers a lot of concerns I had regarding my XR, but it's far from crushing EUCs. I ride a MSP, I hit 44 mph, and the wheel is quite old. new ones are so much more safe and fast.
I appreciate the video tho, the Onewheel is not really made to reach these kinds of speeds anyways, but the torque, the peace of mind and range make it a very interesting Onewheel.. Way to go Futuremotion !
Man my palms were getting sweaty on some of those speed pushes.
Same
VOW U A GOD
Hell yeah VESC 😎 baby. 😎🇺🇸🔥🤘🇬🇷
Just finished communting to work at 40mph on my Electric unicycle. Hoping this isnt click bait. Hopes are not high lol
yea, this aint crushing any unicycle lol no suspension, range, or seat for long distance.
This is what I’ve been waiting for. If you wanna race then extra power means everything. If you’re a regular rider I would still suggest a GTS or a vesc just for safety. It’s more about safety at this point because at one point boards are gonna be an equal playing field. Just like an EUC.
As a heavy rider, 230lbs, what's the best tune for a floatwheel adv? Haven't messed with it a bunch still getting used to the vesc and have 3 years of FM XR to break out of
TAC diapers needed ASAP for pooping pants at those speeds!
Absolutely bonkers! I have a pint which has been broken for a long time now and these vesc s builds are something else.
Love this video
Yes on the range test, please and thinks. Speed is nice but I much more about the range and low end power.
😂 love the editing
So I want to vesc my board but do at have any idea on the software side could yall do a video on how to set it up with your drop in vesc kit and were do i buy one i want to go faster an further
Hey thats our national bird up here in the great white north. Its still snowing here today.
Jeff steezin that Ghostbusters vibe!!
Should have a Floatbusters logo on the back of the jackets 😂
You guys are so dope
I think my commander pro v2(55mph) or my inmotion v14 (43mph) would win in a race but it would be close. I think this build is truly amazing though! if they came like that stock i would buy one!
Nice! It's 3 mph faster than my Inmotion V11Y at 80% DC
I was scared watching this.. Adrenaline building.. Like watching a crazy parkour dude at crazy heights this also gave me similar feels watching Geoff going so fast bro!
Ok, yeah, 35+mph? That's just nuts...
