I asked about your "manual anti-spark" in the comments of an older video of yours, as well as XT90 anti-sparks burning out. Are the black main power connectors in this video XT90AS's, or something bigger/better that removes the need for a manual anti-spark?
This is QS8, a larger anti spark connector and the default one on Tronic 250R. It's the first time I use it, so I am only getting to know how it performs. Hopefully it turns out good over time.
@@VXwheel Thanks! And dammnn, 130A, 600V... at least according to the specs it should be fine for a long time. Please update if you run into any issues. Am I right in thinking there should be no popping / sparking sound, and if there is, that would mean the resistor is no longer working?
@@DoctorDugong21 Yeah, works fine for now. I'll update you if it fails. The issues I have with it so far is that it's too large and complicated to fit in the spot.
It is, I was recently riding 2 rainy event weekends and not a single drop of water was inside. All you need to do is take care the gaskets are in good shape and replace them if damaged.
Studying for future endeavors
Perfect. Building my first this month!
👏👏👏 ottimo lavoro grande !
Does the longer length of wire between packs 4 and 5 mess up the bms measurements for cells 16 or 17?
It all works well for 1500+km now and 4500+km on my VX3 with a similar system just one pack less. I see no mess up in the measurements.

Got it :)
ok🎉
Is that setup waterproof? Using the footpad as the box cover 🫨

@@VXwheel You mean the gaskets on the bottom of the footpads?
@@VXwheel I'm watching your water dip test video now. I see that there's a full layer gasket on top of the box/rail under the footpad. Cool stuff.
@@garrymullins Full gasket under the lid. Maybe it's confusing as it's green.
Whats the battery configuration in total? 20s2p?
This one is 24S 2P.
Lol how many times have you forgot to check if everything is connected?
Never 😅
