VOW
Добавлен 27 июн 2023
VOW is a collection of custom onewheel designs aiming to seek the best possible out of VESC tech, machining and 3D printing.
Fusion Core V2
Yep, already fixed it, hopefully. Purchase is already available on the site
Assuming no mosfets turn spicy I'll be building it this week.
Cheers for the support, and FOMF as always :))

GT Build Guide - Battery - VOW
Просмотров 2,9 тыс.6 месяцев назад
This is the first of the build guide videos surrounding the VOW GT system. The Battery is the most challenging part of the build and requires the most equipment and skill to construct. Follow along with me as I construct a full battery set (main and boost pack). Note that no BMS is installed in this video, that will come separately as my BMS arrives.

Pint Float Bumper Guide

Hope this fixes the Pint X :)) This bumper works with the stock Pint X casing and is necessary for the VOW Pint Battery casing STEP files and purchase is available at my website vow.systems: vow.systems/products/vow-pint-bumper (youtube might not let me use links in video descriptions yet, something to do with spam reduction)
Swappable Onewheel Batteries - They're Possible
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.9 месяцев назад
I've spent the last year working on this challenge. I believe the VOW Swap Plug will allow dedicated VESC Onewheel riders to change their packs out and get more out of their machine. More info and demonstrations are to come, but if you're interested in getting in line to obtaining one, check out my website at vow.systems (youtube wont let me use links yet haha)
Battery Breakdown

Today, I finally get to discussing the elements of my experimental onewheel battery designs that I've spent the last few months pioneering If you're interested in printing or obtaining one of my proven battery casings, check out vow.systems/
Intro to the VOW Design
Просмотров 6 тыс.Год назад
Welcome to the first video breaking down the design of the VOW Board type. This is just intended to be a simple summary of all of the systems and how they differ from other designs to achieve the most unique vehicle out there. More details will come over time, for now feel free to launch any questions down below :))
Homenick Spur
Does the firmware need to be change or what setting is needed to change in the configuration to move the controller to the middle?
Does this work on the hypercore?
I want to build a 27s2p 2170 + x12 on the XR platform is it possible? Maybe 18s2p back and 9p up front with x12?
Controller in the core seem like he future, only question is heat! How will it perform in really hot environment, combine the heat with the motor. Constant up hill climb is the real test, I have a feeling it won’t do will vs a well cooled control box. Eventually you might need to use 4 heat pipe to the rail!
Still waiting on the entire list of parts for the dragon slayer. Officially my dream board bro.
U never did the BMS video
How do I build this board?????
Do you need extended GT axle bolts for the adapter blocks? Or can you use the stock axle bolts?
hey i love the video im thinking of building a pint battery out of 50s cells how do you know where to put the balance leads is there a specific order? im not 100% sure on that thats my biggest hurdle to figure out thank you
👍👍 on the improvements, waiting here results
Amazing work brother.
These will work with X7 or X10 rails right?!
or I should say the fungineers controller/complete case
This things awesome, I really want to do a build with one. Do you plan on adding heatsink fins to the exposed area near the axle blocks? Almost like cold onces but just machined into the block. My biggest fear with this form factor is motor temps damageing the controller.
Appreciate everything you are doing. Respect.
🎉🏆
Please make a solid core option and use the Metal Gear font! Solid core desirable for V2. I just wanna fill the hole and use it as a giant heatsink!
Impressive! But still I doubt it’s not gonna overheat. Waiting to see v3 with heatpipes ;-)
Yo Jeff (FL), test one out for us!
This is awesome Stanley! Please keep up the hard work. We'll have such powerful 40mile range boards soon that are perfectly balanced! 🤞🤞
Will have
Dude, I'm not even an engineer (just a geek) but love watching your video! The rate pics and the end specially got me! 🤣🤣🤣
That's interesting! I look forward to hearing about the real-life test!
MINDBOGGLING 🤩
fusion core 2 electric boogaloo
Still waiting on my batteries and fusion core is out already lol xD
Love it, very impressive! That does look like a big improvement. Btw how do you slide that thing into the opening? Isn’t the motor cable in the way? I need to see this in a video 😂
No motor cable on this cannoncore, it's just stripped down phase wires with bullet connectors. Very easy fit
So amazing stanley!!!! keep it up!
Ok, now make a short with you just saying gasket.... Don't want to say I told you so with thermals being an issue, but I don't make the rules unfortunately.
Everyone and their mum knew thermals would be an issue, which is why it took practical testing to solve the problem
First, 'ECSTATIC how quickly and passionately you improved an already revolutionary (am I using that right?)design! Second, confirming: V2 will work with SuperFlux?
I don't see how, this is designed specifically for the Cannon Core which has the space required to put the controller inside.
@@Mowguliwhat this guy said
@Mowguli I appreciate the clarification! I misunderstood/heard what I wanted to hear when Stan said "any hub" (than my hope took over HA!)
@@edmondsmith4259 Haha no worries! The beauty of this idea is that the CannonCore can be installed on an XR frame. Crazy builds could be unlocked.
👏
i love u
Can't wait to get my hands on this and slap a JetFleetF6 on it!
You the man can’t wait to get it in my hands!!!!
Bro that's insane. Awesome design.
I'm ordering asap! Looking forward to building a VESC with a cannon core!
You are a legend dude. Next level cool stuff your coming up with. Please please keep up your good work.
Hear me out! Wireless antitheft key single button key fob for OneWheel power on/off. "Won't turn on without it, still times out at 20." Long press the button to toggle Headlights/Taillight would be difficult but gold if achieved. Clip it to your belt loop. Power on as you walk up to it. #SavesAstep #PieceOfMind
Not that it'd be loud, but you could also have haptic feedback beep as an alarm of sorts.
We already have wireless antitheft - lock/unlock your vehicle via phone or Apple Watch
@@surfdado I could add something like this to PubRemote too.
possibly the hardest working guy in onewheel modding right now. keep up the great work stanley!!!
We are so lucky to have such a clever, driven, transparent, intelligent man putting effort into innovative products. I’ll be supporting when they go on sale that’s for sure. It’s important to have people like this in the community, good for the sport.
Fk yeah. Genius.
Cant wait for v3
So good mate - did you dye your hair? Looks heaps darker
this is the only question you had matt?😂
Nope 🤣
@@DoobiesStokeShop lol - are you telling me you’d not following my Stanley fanboy hair shade blog?! I update daily… mate Stanley is my builder/mate - I’ve been sitting on inside design info for ages in our local Aussie vesc group - if anything I try not to ask questions as I’m notorious for stealing his thunder - really hoping tronic gets my 30s x12 moving here soon - my new vow build is gonna blow minds - don’t think anyone has done a 2p 21700 30s build -
Portal radio jumpscare Can't wait for this and the jetfleet to release!
Yo Portal radio
Stanley, I finally finished my Vow XR build and it absolutely rips. Thank you, brother. You are pushing the limits and we can't thank you enough! FOMF
Will these work with the exile sensor?
I'm all about the Nose UP 🤣🤣
please dont make me want a gt
Make one for xr platform also thanks
Nice 3D print on the hydraulic press
