Wow I love the testimony Sterling! Tbh this is the first time I see a video from you guys and wow! Very informative and you guys are awesome 😂 As a returning college student trying to budget, my daily commute used to me my 2013 ninja 300. I believe low oil was the reason my engine locked up. I took my bike to one mechanic in which I felt they really didn't bother to diagnose my bike and and another was charging me an arm and a leg for an engine swap. Tbh I was studying civil engineering but because of my love for bikes and amazing people like Shane, I decided to go the mechanical route instead. Thank you so much for your content, you have no idea how much it helps those in our country and all over the world that may be in a tight spot like me and because of you're passion in teaching your fellow bike brothers, we do not only benefit monetarily from the DIY, but more importantly gain a deeper appreciation and build a stronger bond with your machine. nice, love to see your channel, I have an old gs500 from 96, and it having troubel getting startet unless I stop my hand over the air filter entrance, then it will start immediately but will not idle. both carburetors have been disassembled cleaned and jets has been replaced based on the specifications, the mixer screw is also set based on the service manual, do you have a suggestion for the problem sincerely jimmi from denmark

Thanks for the insight about motorcycle mechanics. Got a qusetion i have a 08 r1 just had this shop do crank and rod bearing well long storie short they minused a 1 on rod bearings and put blacks in when it should have been brown got 2 miles before rod knock. As soon as it happen i shut bike off. Do you think i can just replace rod bearings or another new crank thanks

I have a bike that will bar over until a certain point, then gets locked up. What do you think that is? 2000 v star 1100

2017 Kawasaki z900 with suspension modified for my weight and meager skills. Good grip and you can feel the road surface and so far, with 6000 miles on them, I believe I'll make 10,000. They are my new favorite tire. I've run the Bridgestone Battlax BT series tires for twenty years, from the 020 through the T31 EVO. They wear well but they are numb feeling. The Conti RA3 are my new brand. 👍

@@How2Wrench no fortunately not this one. It's the gm version 4.3l boat engine. Although I have had a actual car engine that was the same way that I was able to save and is still being driven around. That was 4 or 5 years ago.
