    the one thing i like about mazda interiors is they’re simple, good quality, and not trying to be over the top with flash. everything feels premium, and you don’t have to baby anything. i love the overall design of the cx-90, it’s just huge, which is why i’m eagerly awaiting the cx-70 to debut.

    • @saurabhbhalla90

      CX70 is the same size as cx90 just 5 seats instead of 7

    • @iamslf
      @iamslf Год назад

      @@saurabhbhalla90 that would be the case if the cx-90 had jumper seats in the third row, like the mercedes e class wagons. the cx-70 may be styled closer to the cx-60 with a slightly bigger wheel base, kinda like how the cx-8 slots between the cx-5 and the cx-9, but looks more like the cx-5.

      I love my Mazda CX-5 and will pit it against any Toyota for reliability. I was planning on replacing it with either the CX70 or CX90. Unfortunately, Mazda will only sell models with AWD, Turbos, hybrid systems, clutch transmissions, and some with compression ignition tech. Every one of those cost more, requires more maintenance, and decreases reliability. Sorry Mazda, you lost a customer.

    The minivan made previously to the CX-9 was called the MPV.
    0:21 This made me tear up. Because seeing the color of the maroon CX-90 reminded me of the 1990 Mazda MPV we had when I was younger. Took it to so many roadtrips till it overheated at 368k miles. I love the design of this compared to the new pilot. I can’t stop looking at it, just feels different to the eyes. Mazda designers hit a home run!

One important feature I am looking for in any vehicle is lumbar support for at least the driver. For those of you who are interested as I am for this feature, Alex on Autos and Raiti's Rides indicates this vehicle has power driver and passenger seats and 2-way lumbar support for the driver.

    Another great video Kirk!!!
    You gotta love Mazdas efforts in making a better vehicle than the normal SUV with a freaking brand new Mazda developed inline 6!!!! That’s unreal !!! I used to love their technology back in the day. Can anyone remember when they made the smallest V6 in the USA, I believe it was a 1.8 liter V6 and boy was it smooth and it sounded great, it was in the MX3 GS. I loved how they went against the norm back in those days . I'll never forget when my buddy got a 1986 RX-7, i was infatuated with the sound and the buttery smoothness of the rotary engine, from then on I was hooked and I bought one my self but I was a first gen. Cudos to Mazda and all of their engineering efforts through the decades, they did amazing things for such a small company.

    Love the idea of the inline 6, though disappointed it is not available in naturally aspirated form. Beautiful car leaning a bit towards a "shiny object" vs understated elegance. 21" wheel size consistent with overstated theme while the front end makes the Mazda corporate "Joker face". But, hey if one or two out of touch people want to drive themselves around in an overstated 7-9 passenger vehicle - this one presents it...hopefully the CX-60 is a little more understated and utilitarian and instead says "drive me". Question: is the catalytic converter protected?

    The key thing about this car will be the price. If the higher trims are aiming for like what car and driver (58k) has put as their estimated pricing, I do not see the CX-90 as a hot seller, especially when the PHEV only is expected to get 30 miles to the charge. I mean what's the point of getting a PHEV if it's only going to get 30 Miles????? This is why pricing will be huge. If top of the line CX-90 is below say 52k, I can 100% see this car selling out like hot cakes.
    At the 58-60k mark, there will be some way better options then Mazda. This is where Mazda always seems to fail, the Mazda 3 top of the trim has no business being 35k, the CX-50 has no business being 43k for the top of the line.
    I feel like if Mazda does a better job with their pricing, they wouldn't have issues keeping it in stock, people would be flocking to it, but it's their pricing that is holding a lot of people back.

    I’m very excited that the PHEV is the base engine. I’m worried what it means for the MSRP but hopefully it’s not too far of a departure from their current CX-9 pricing

      I’m hoping we see a Premium or Signature trim with the PHEV. I really like the look of the body of the I6 model in all the press releases without the plastic cladding that is present on the PHEV in this video.

      I mean I've got some bad news... This entire segment is SUVs for people who don't want to admit they need a minivan 🤣 Take a look at the direct rear view of any 3 row SUV (not truck chassis). Highlander, Palisade/Telluride, grand Cherokee 3 row..... Not exactly sports coupes.

    Exterior and the dashboard look really nice! a couple of things that I didn't like are, the front seats look very flat, I wish they had some depth to them. The door shut from outside sounds very cheap though from inside the car sound nice and solid. And, they should've put a nice swade headliner, it kills it by going with standard cheap material. But, the thing I really love is the I6 REAR wheel drive, that's the proper layout!
