I've heard so much and watched so many videos regarding Shaking Crab and I knew I had to come check it out for myself. As luck would have it, the mayor of Las Vegas, LasVegasFil invited my friend and I to come out and eat at the restaurant. How could I refuse? I'm going to try as much as I can because

I watch many Vegas influencers - Jacob, Ruby, Norma, and Shin. I think if I could hang out with one of them it would be Shin. He loves food like I do and always seems so happy.
That's so weird to think of myself as an influencer because this is just a hobby for me. The other three you mention are full time and big time. But I'm glad you'd want to hang with me between the 4. I'm not always happy, but I'm typically happy when I'm eating lol. Thanks for watching!
I loved my meal at The Shaking Crab. I tried the garlic noodles w/o the seafood in it and the salt level wasn't too bad. Loved the video.
Yeah, I think the salt levels are a consistency issue. Some dishes I compared to other videos and it just seems like it can be spot on or too much. But at least it's never under seasoned. Thanks for watching!

I've been meaning to try Shaking Crab! I like their variety. My go-to AYCE Seafood Boil (Crab N' Spice) is pretty good, but they don't do AYCE clams T^T

WOW CHIN! What a seafood resteraunt SHAKING CRAB! FISHERMAN'S PLATTER Catfish sounds good. Shrimp really looks good to me! Love Calamari. Fries are do good. Glad they had Cajun seasoning. Corn had too much Cajun seasoning. Wings look good. Sweet potato fries not crispy but still tasty. Sounds like clam chowder was delicious. The chicken Poboy was really good. The loaded garlic noodles were delicious. Mac n cheese was disappointing. Onion rings were so good. Gumbo was a little too pungent the way you said. The SEAFOOD BOIL WAS EXCELLENT. Shrimp my favorite, then the crab legs, vlams, mussels, shakers sauce you loved. It did give the seafood a great flavor. Octopus not my favorite. Potatoes, corn, sausage all great accompaniments. Cheesecake a great end to a great seafood boil!!!

This place has invited a bunch of RUclipsrs to promote this AYCE deal, and of course they all wax poetic. But it’s all salty, oily, and fried stuff. I rather pay a few bucks more for bacchanal buffet and have all the snow crab legs I want.
Bacchanal will always be there for you! But I love my seafood boils. It was a staple go to for me when I worked in SoCal as our celebratory meals for big occasions. Boiling Crab was the name of the place. I still love these flavors. Thanks for watching!

I’m actually from Louisiana, and generally most out-of-state gumbo attempts fail miserably; the Shaking Crab’s being no exception. I swear the gumbo in this video looked like a cup of salsa, lol.
Aside from that, it was a delight watching you enjoy most of the other dishes while I drooled.

It's definitely an issue with some of the dishes. The garlic noodles we had were incredibly salty. I think it's just a consistency thing. The calamari was perfect but the shrimp was over. But the most important for me was the boil and that was awesome so it worked out. Thanks for watching!

VWS: Yaba Daba Doo lol with the bibb you reminded me of Fred Flintstone!! Shaking Crab 🦀 had no reportable food crimes ezcept for the excessive salt but that can be easily fixed with training and oversight. The price was spot on for the amount of food you eat ( which was alot). But unfortunately I cannot say it rivals New Orleans cusine and hopefully you will venture down there one day. This is a place I'll try someday because the food looks good for the most part. It's good that you were enjoying most of the food for a change, Shin. It's just hard nowadays to find good places to eat. Yes, I've been past China town Las Vegas before, but it's not what I'm used to. I'm spoiled by the one in San Francisco that I used to visit every weekend when I lived in the Bay Area.
I'm wondering if you're ever going to try Primrose in Park MGM and the buffet at the Palms because I hear they are good and a tip try to avoid eating at the top of the world at the Stratosphere because I've heard the food is bad and expensive we'll catch you on the next one
I really did like my food here. I'm used to paying upwards of $50 for a single bag like that back in Socal so all you can eat for $60 is a crazy deal to me. I haven't been to Primrose yet but I have done the buffet at the Palms a few times. I plan on doing every single restaurant on the strip that's not a national chain on the channel eventually. I want a full collection so if it exists, and they'll allow me to film, it's going to be on the channel. Thanks admiral! See you in the next one!
That hard-boiled eggs are overcooked. A proper cooked egg has zero green coloring around yolk. Outside the sauce, it i am not sold for price. Rather do Palms buffet.Great review

With all of the new restaurants you go to for your channel, do you have time to return to your favorite restaurants? I’m nowhere near your level, but I also like to try out new restaurants in the resort corridor and throughout the valley. But there are also many restaurants that I love and return to frequently. I find that I like returning to my favorites so much that it really cuts down on how quickly I can try new places.
I almost never get to return to a restaurant. Doing 2 new places a week with all the leftovers doesn't leave me a lot of time to go back unfortunately. Thanks for watching!

I was there back on Sunday. I didn't do all you can eat since my friend just wanted a po'boy sandwich. I did get 2 bags of crawfish and mussels and it was pretty good. Kinda wished I did all you can eat lol.

Yeah, seafood boil did not come in an AYCE form when I lived back in SoCal so this was a treat. I will always call it like I taste it regardless, but I'm just not that picky of an eater either. I have seen a couple of people feature this place and I am upset I didn't know about it on my last trip. I would use the Shin method and pay whatever to get all the good stuff! You do such a great job highlighting all of the pros and sometimes of the cons of each item that it gives me a list of what to focus on or cut out!
I'd also seen this place on social media a lot and I was thrilled when Phil invited me to try it out. I was going to do it anyways but being invited feels nice. I'm happy to say it's worth the hype. Back in SoCal, I'd easily pay $40-$50 for a single bag of what I got here. Thanks for watching!

That's a good question. I think you have to add lobster and king crab for an additional price to the all you can eat option if I remember correctly. I'm always about the shrimp for a seafood boil so I didn't miss it as much. Thanks for watching!

Shin, can you recommend the best all you can eat sushi place in vegas? I am visiting next week!! :)
The majority of them all piggyback their fish along with the big strip orders so they all have very similar fish quality at the all you can eat level, so I recommend Sushi Neko because the price is really reasonable. But you can't go wrong with most AYCE sushi in Vegas. Thanks for watching!

Hmmm…I have mixed feelings about eating seafood from a bag and all over the table.I have eaten at these types of restaurants with the bag and I am just not a big fan. Having lived in South Florida for many years and eaten tons of seafood, I prefer my seafood on a platter and using utensils. I agree with you about dumping a ton of small potatoes into the seafood medley. I would probably get full on those and have no room for the seafood. Ha ha. Thanks for the video.
The bag and the eating with your hands off the table is a novelty. It's that cajun sauce. I just love it. But for sure when it came to making a video, it was extra tedious to make sure my hands weren't completely making a mess on my phone lol. Thanks for watching!

If you Google images of frozen pre breaded calamari it looks nothing like what Shin showed at the restaurant. You say classic example but nothing online looks like it?
