Yes.All of you are right. .But in what context he wrote this in kannada? Added to his son s blindness his daughters were widowed at a very young age.There is one more unpublished poem he wrote in English which pours out his sadness.I have given a copy of that to BMSri smaraka bhavana. He had suffered a lot in life And its openly known that he has translated lead kindly light.This information I got from relatives and I have seen his blind son who died in the 1970s.
