    Has there ever been an attempt to produce Caligari with the original non-framed script?

      You could do it yourself by simply dubbing the film (it's long been in the public domain) and deleting the "bookends."

      @@paulkesler1744 So the book ends were the only addition? I was wondering if the script itself had been altered to conform to the bookend,; in other words if things had been omitted or rewritten and if so, if a copy of the original script still remained.
