Allan shilling Pretty sure he meant what he wrote. 7 secs 0-60 is pretty bad for a car with 354 HP. However, this is a big luxury SUV, of course the 0-60 isn’t going to be great. Love the car still, stunning noise.
@@jgripen969 This is from Europe so they're doing 0-100 kph, not 0-60 mph. So this is roughly 0-62.13 mph. 0-100 in 7.1 seconds is respectable. It's as quick as a 1984 Corvette V8 350 or a modern Dodge Charger SXT and it's doing that while weighing almost 3 tons.
TheDay IsNear888 yeah if it didn’t break down first which is most likely what would happen. And yeah, big surprise, a twin turbo’d 4.4 will beat a NA 4.8.... you are bragging? Lol

Luckily for me, we only had 1 problem. Amazingly it has been with us for 6 years. We did some battery changes and the transmission changes as well and that's all :)
@@ajrd2000 I think it was something the the computer of the car. It was years ago since that happened but basically one thing that I remember happening was when the car was on a stop light and when the lights when green, my dad changed to the drive gear, but then car went into reverse gear. I do remember another situation where the car would just go back to neutral when switching to D. There were few cars behind cars behind us. Man do I miss that X5.
Hmm, really? Mine hasn’t had one single issue yet beyond two new coil packs, at well past 100k. Most people that have a reliable and non problematic experience don’t post about it where others, if someone so much as gets a flat tire then the vehicle is totally unreliable. So, do you speak from experience or heresy?
@@joshuabellezady6675 if I understand correctly then your dad stops on a red light and uses the lever to get out of D mode into whatever mode just so he can get back into D once the light goes green? If so then please don't let him do that. This is okay on a manual car so you don't stand on the clutch pedal for too long. But as automatic gearboxes go you put it in D and that is where its at. Period. The more you shift this way the more tear and wear you cause which shortens the life of your gearbox. Occasionally it is okay. But doing this on a regular basis... no hate. Just some friendly advice :)
Thumbs up for solving the error light with a black round sticker :D
Is the car stock?
Mám to doma 👍
Beautiful Car!! Did you lower the car suspension, did you have to do any reprogramming?
Dam ❤
I love this car
Nice hows the maintence I know this can be a nightmare. Is it true ?
The V8 itself is actually reliable, the problems in this car are mainly electronics that tend to just give up on life I guess lol
@@ly_775 That's always a thing on any BMW, even on my B58 🥲. I had to go of the X5 I kept getting misfires left and right even after fixing it 😅
nice video
Mldc😅🤟👌
The car is nice up till your valve stem seals give up
Nothing particularly difficult about that job. Just gotta get the right tools.
Easy job, maybe not for you with your feminine hands though.

Turn off the dtc & put it in first gear ... None of this sp mode
My 4.4 would roll this 4.8 hands down
E70 4.4's are very unreliable if you compare to 4.8

Car is cool, but the sound is lame 😴😴😴😴
The acceleration is horrific. All that noise and 7 seconds to 60mph
Do you realize its a 2.245kg car and its not aerodynamic as a the others bmw's? Besides its NA, what the fuck did you expect?
Good lord you are fuckin stupid… it’s a 5000lb + SUV, what do you expect?
Too bad they are so unreliable.
