To whomever gave the Thumbs down, I hope you never find True Love and Happiness until you remove that dislike, pray for forgiveness, and give thanks to this Legend who blessed us all in his lifetime. He was the Great-Grand Papi many of us wish they had and should be given the respect he deserves.
60 Minutes just is not the same anymore without a few minutes with Andy Rooney. This has to be one of the best ways I’ve ever seen to carve a Turkey! Well done Andy! Happy heavenly Thanksgiving! You are so missed by many loved ones! 🦃🦃🦃🙏🙏🙏
Ever wonder why when Andy died, they did not replace him with a few minutes with somebody else? Some weeks, he was the only interesting thing to watch on 60 minutes.
This is when you know hes made an impact. I only started watching him in 2005. For years after Ill always loved the last five minutes watching him. I remember him being there for years. He only died 8 years later.
Always enjoyed his segments every Sunday of every year he was on 60 Minutes. I was age 9 when that show premiered, but I watched some of it even then. Various newscasters were on it over the years, but I hated to see Rooney leave it. That news type show is an American icon.
Thanks Andy! RIP BTW: Do NOT put stuffing into the turkey and then cook it! Many chefs will tell you this. It absorbs much of the natural juices in the turkey and the result is drier meat. Instead, substitute a small/medium onion and cook the stuffing separately. The water in the onion will evaporate and make the meat juicier.
That is true, but it looks nicer with the stuffing in it. Besides the stuffing in the turkey tastes great because it absorbed all the juices from your precious turkey
I never have carved the turkey, just picked the meat off the bone instead, also have never seen one with the dressing cooked inside it,it's always been in a separate pan.
Yeah,my mom always made it with the stuffing in another pan. I usually get the honor of carving the bird because I own the most knives and am therefore the most qualified to chop and hack at the poor dead carcass. I use a semi flexible blade fillet knife to carve the bird which means that I can get right down to the bone and follow it under the meat. I carve the breast and break the drumsticks and wings off like Andy did and then pick anything else I can off the rest of the bird's skeletal structure
I loved watching his segments. My parents watched the first 55 minutes of the show, I watched for the last 5 minutes :D

Agreed 100%!
Amen
Probably because he likes dark meat, like his men.
"How I carve a turkey, not how to carve a turkey"
I’d like to see Mo Rocca’s take on turkey carving, but then again, he is on Sunday Morning, not 60 minutes.

Why they didn't hire Lewis Black to replace him, I'll never know.

He wouldn't have just 3 minutes here on RUclips.
Back into the office
Andy should have had his own cooking show. I would rather watch that than Rachel Ray any day.
I agree I would rather learn from him than anyone else any day.

Well you two must be young, because years ago that was common! It was only after concerns over different bacteria’s was it moved to a separate dish!
i enjoyed this way too much
I love you maaaan! Can you spare some change, or a wing.
Thanksgiving is overlooked says a lot about our ungrateful nation, and a lot is thanks to retailers.
And NUMBER ONE! DON’T CARVE A TURKEY WHILE WEARING A SUIT!!!
He didn't carve it, he butchered it.
that's.... useful
It is. I personally use a fillet knife that is pretty stiff to do this, but a 2" pocket knife would work eventually!
