that was Dicor BT-1834-1 Butyl Seal Tape you pulled off from behind the lights. I'd recommend going back and putting that under your plates. You still want to seal the plates unless there was a rubber/foam seal on the plate that I missed.
Cool beans
Dear Captain Travel!
The square screws are called ROBERTSON from a Canadian guy creating them'
Great plug for us cheezeheads
@@montyforster3370 Thanks! Do you sometimes go infield camping at NASCAR races like our fearless Captain Travel Leader, Eric The Nomad?'
Far superior than Phillips
Eric mount that last camera on the top of the camper to watch the trailer and behind from the top of the RV
Brilliant! Well said!
Lights and cameras protect you and the kitties. I believe it is a safely feature. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie. ❤
I have a 3 camera set up on my semi. 1 dash cam, and 1 on each mirror. It see's everything I see. Has saved me several time's. Safe travels.
Careful on that ladder!! I am glad you're in better spirits today!
Put the rear camera on the upper passenger corner of the RV looking behind toward the oncoming lane. Or on the driver side looking at the adjacent lane.
Light's and camera's are important for many reasons. The trailer is a great summer item for your riding pleasure. Roll safe brother
Hoping you are nowhere near the storm track and staying safe. Good travels
WOW Eric I love the motion lights that you installed! Next time you travel thru the Oregon Coast, you're welcome to stop by and install one for my trailer!!!!
Daily Watcher Eric. Love the videos. those kitties are Adorable.
When its 50/50 no one is at fault. You do not meet the 51% threshold, but you could be liable for the deductible, depends on your insurance company.
I hope that new dashcam works well for you. Looked it up on Amazon, $344.00. A bit pricey for me at this time. Love that the weather has calmed down for you to get all this work done. Hugs to you and the Kitties!
Linus Tech Tips did a great video on the best dashcams and the Viofo was at the top of the list.
That looks to be a animal cruelty case. That’s so heartbreaking 💔
thanks for the dash cam recommendation !! I love to see how you upgrade your RV everytime.... thanks for sharing the info... it might just be another Thursday video recording for you.... but it really is useful for those of us that want to know !
Great new lights! 💡
PS- what ended up being in the bag police was searching??? 🤔🙏👍
Yup gotta stay tight on security, only way your property stays safe good stuff thanks see ya on the next one
Running a video cable under your RV is a good opportunity to take a close look at everything down there. I spent a good afternoon zip tying wires under and learned where a lot of my components were at. Running a video camera in the rear is essential. You really can’t see back there at all while driving.
Wow those lights are bright! Nice!
Square bit screwdrivers are called "Robinson" bits. They very popular in Canada.
I just noticed your intro doeshows your rv with the missing wheel cap. 😅
Good vid let us know how cam holds up. I also added brighter porch lite and replaced melted lens one. Safe travels.
Hello, I've been watching your videos for over a year now, and you continue to impress me, especially with installing anything electrical. I get lost on the terms explaining your volts and amps. For some reason it doesn't click. I enjoy your corkey sense of humor as well. You are so entertaining. Continue safe travels.
Square headed screws are called Robertson, very popular in Canada.
Square head screws are called Robertsons or Robbies for short. They are a Canadian invention and the best screws there are.
Looking at lights for my rv and trailer, thinking I should put them on both driver and passenger sides .
I was thinking for the dashcam rearview you could bracket it off the top of the roof ladder so it is a downward view of the trailer/ tow car/ rear view.
I have that same camera.. I put the rear camera on my passenger window pointing into my right mirror.. So it shows the right side plus into my mirror and down the right side towards the rear..
For low wattage 12 volt like LED lights you don't need a special switch any cheep house light switch is fine.
Maybe mount the rear camera on the side of the RV but facing backwards so you can catch what's going on on both behind and in traffic on your side. Not sure if that's a viable option.
I want a light in the back and on the driver side rear that’s maybe solar and no wires but motion activated and possibly with a remote. Always so dark there.
Yeah come visit the North East. Also i definitely think if you put that last camera at the top of the back of the RV you should be able to see the sides of the trailer and see if anyone hits you
I didn't need that opening with my coffee, Eric
I need security and motion lights, living on a corner. I could have caught thieves that stole two stop sign and a road sign this week
Traveling to the East Coast? Blackfly season ends a little before Father's Day, here in Maine.
Hey Eric, have a question about your rv generator. Do you run 100% Gas all the time in your rv. You probably already have checked into it. But some older small engines have problems running on ethanol gas. Maybe, maybe not just something I thought of when getting gas today. Good luck! Rock on!
We got cut off today!!!!! Gotta always have a dash cam
Good video. Your great in explaining details. 😉🥰🤗 take care, stay safe. ❤
Hey Eric that is some great stuff man and the Lights Are awesome the extra security never is a wrong idea the cameras either Since the thing in California I do agree 100%
Maybe you can find an extension to mount the camera behind the trailer. I'm sure modified auto can help you wire that.
Maybe modified auto can fix your onan generator?😊
I’ve actually found LED lights don’t attract near as many bugs as incandescent bulbs. Those are a nice upgrade from the original lights.
I have the top rated Viofo front and rear cameras. Would not call it a big screen without telescoping eyes😊
Hi Eric great video. I don't travel any more but I do have security ....
Actually I learn a lot when show how to do things and have great ideas
Ever consider a trailer door bar lock assembly? Have one on my moto trailer along with free (w/automatic renewal) AMA insurance that covers bike, trailer and tow vehicles.
nice lighting
Great lights Eric
the rv upgrade videos are just as fun as the traveling ones !
Awesome setup Eric.
Whenever you talk about not having everything with you when you bring the car, I wonder if there isn't a solution for that. Surely there's a trailer that fits a Smart car and a motor cycle at the same time without it being like a full call hauler?
Truck Driver here. We have 3 cameras. 1 facing forward, 1 on each side mirrors facing back. Smile🤭
Have you consider getting a toterhome? that way you can have all the toys and the car in the same place!
Those are great looking lights.
Good show. Thanks.
Woot Woot are you coming to the North East ? Thousand Trails Sturbridge! come visit
RV is lookin' good!!
The words "trusty" and GoPro do not belong in the same sentence.
Great lights!
Of course square bit screws! That's like a Canadian DNA test.
I have one of those upgeade lights on my fifthwheel I love them you will to
Nice work Eric. Looking good man!
Here for you.😊
Seeing those dash cam videos, makes me want say extra prayers for you. Part of my prayer for God protecting me on the road : Lord, I ask You to Bless my driving today. I believe You will encompass me as a shield. For you are my Help and my Shield. I believe I receive myself and my car under Your protection. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Nice lights.
That’s sick
That's The One I got. Not the PRO, though Stopped hooking up wirelessly to my phone.
good vid on travel in the camper van keep up the good travel vids you do nice cam you just set up look good
Thanks for sharing
Your Security Lights Look very very very very Cool 😎 Eric😎😊👍
Great video thanks for sharing. Love yah Nancy
Good informational video.
Thxs Eric.
Ooh I need that website.
All of this sounds smart to me! I’m a fan.
The trailer is handy, but I think Tatertot was way cooler for the Chanel 😎
Being Tater is so small why not get a combination car and bike trailer! No brainer for traveling around
Rock On Dude!
Eric, square screws are called Robertson. More used in Canada.
I think you should get a rear view dash cam on back of trailer and Bigfoot..as a truck driver I was rear-ended 3 times but lucky for me eye witnesses where recording each time..other drivers said I braked hard or backed into them
Paranoia strikes deep! Geese so many lites and cameras stay home!
Great product
Hi Eric 😊
Great video👍👋
Hey Eric! Wonder if you could give me some advice
I had a giant tree fall Infront of me once going down the highway dash cam was off you never know what could happen.
You should have placed a disclaimer on air before showing the footage of that deceased animal.
Or just don’t show it
It didn't show anything. I saw was just a plastic bag.
@@daemocd but there was something in it…
Hey Eric, have a link for the RV LED lights webpage?
Been watching your videos for a couple years! Maybe we'll see you on the road!
It's in the video description.
Links for the lights?
OMG, that's horrible. Somebody tortured an animal. It may have even still been alive when it was dumped. Some ppl are evil. Did you check your camera footage to see if your dash came saw the person(s) who dumped that animal?
Nice 🎉
Too bad you had no cameras to catch the animal dumper😢
Nice.
Hi Eric, I tried your Top Ramen recipe and your right its delicious!! Love your videos, especially when your doing stuff like on this video with your lighting and dash cam. Wishing you fun and safe travels!!
Nice to know someone tried the Ramen recipe. I can't have it because my doctor put me on low cholesterol, low salt, no sugar diet. A few weeks ago I would have tried it.
That’s a game changer
I’ll be sure to mention your name when I go to Modified Auto 😉
👍
