Hi, I have a seat leon so a 2 volumes car, i guess i have to take the rear line into the rear door because if don't it doesn't work good when I open the door, right? Thanks
How well does the rear camera see through tint?

Why does your vehicle not have a rear view mirror?
How do you mount this on a pick up truck for the rear window?
You can adjust the angle on the rear cam and have it essentially point into the glass, there is enough clearance room for this

Does the camera work in a hardtop convertible?
Our cameras can work on hardtop convertibles, but since hardtop convertibles are not suitable for installing a rear camera inside the vehicle, we recommend that you purchase the F7N which includes a rear camera for mounting on the outside of the vehicle.
Does the Redtiger app work without issue? Is it safe? I've seen places give it 2.5/5.0 stars.
How can I install on a jaguar xe
How do you hide the cable for the front camera from the side of the windshield panel to the cigarette lighter power adapter? You have to run it loose across the dashboard. The video does not show that. I ran the power cable straight down to the adapter, but it is not the best setup.
I had to run it from my mini storage compartment underneath my steering wheel area and through the panels running up the door. Kinda confusing to explain but I hope it helps
You should identify what parts you need to take off to run it to power, then maybe search a video on how to remove said pieces specific to your make model year, and viola.
In the instruction booklet it shows you’re apparently supposed to run in the driver’s footwell near the pedals then pop it out along the liner, up to the headliner, and across
Are the camera's always on when it's turned on? Or is there a way to have the rear camera turn on only when in reverse?
Pretty sure no because it's a 2 channel cam. You could find the hot wire for reverse lights or the fuse if it isolates reverse, but you wouldn't be able to use the cam any other time. Try calling redtiger. Maybe if you install it with an obd connection, the app can isolate the reverse.
How do you install on a truck with a canopy on back? This is not as easy as it looks.

Purchased this dash cam and haven't installed it yet. Do most people install the camera in a location where they can view it while driving or do they place it to the right of the rearview mirror, where it cannot be seen by driver???
I did mine on the right. It was too distracting in my side view. Good luck!

My car has an airbag on the side. Is it safe to place it in?
Nah bro don't do that. You'll pop the bag. My car has internal airbags as well and I was strongly advised against tampering with the cover since it's what holds the bag in place
Installation of the cable is generally along the edges, taking care not to route the cable through the airbag work area, which in this way essentially does not affect the airbag.

This is very important. Do not install wires over the side curtain bag, its anchor straps, or block it's ability to fully inflate.

Where do you connect the power of the rear camera??
The cord for the rear camera plugs into the front camera. It gets it's power from there

Hello, the cigarette lighter socket in my vehicle works even if the vehicle is turned off. If I connect the camera there, will the parking mode work without purchasing an additional kit?
I may be wrong but I'd imagine it would work but will drain your battery
@brynsaundersbs yes that's why they recommend buying another part so it runs off that and not the battery in their manual

I just got mine yesterday and no matter what i do the suction will not stay on the windshield for more than 5 minutes

this is actually more complicated (whats up w hiding the wire through car parts), it shouldnt be this much work. also wtf does it mean by “format the SD before using”, there’s no instruction on what that means

If you want to achieve parking monitor mode, a dedicated hardware kit can work, which inturn will not drain the car battery as it has low voltage protection.

For aesthetics, the cable needs to be hided in the car when installing it. The power cable connects the front camera and the car cigarette lighter. The rear camera is connected to the AV-IN connector of the front camera through the rear cable.

Rear camera WILL come off if you live in a HOT area like temperature is over 100. Nothing can beat the heat. I know for a fact becuase I live in an area where the summer reaches over 110 sometimes and my front camera always falls off and I have to reattach it.

if u dont want it to drain your car battery while parking, yes
24-hour monitoring. My car doesn't allow usb or cigarette type accessories to run without the ignition on.

The power cord isn’t long enough to hide… any tips
If you are referring to the power cord that connects to your car's cigarette lighter is not long enough, we have an extension version of the hardware kit（ASIN：B0B319TJSM）, which is around 6.5 meters.
@redtigerdashcam1806 No they are saying it's TOO long and because of that they ran out of room to hide it. Meaning a bunch of cable is sticking out and not hidden.
How long is the cigarette plug cord that is included? No length specs are on their site.
The dashcam mount use fell off. and it didnt come with a double sided tape. is it just me?
I'm having this same issue. The mount does not stick at all. Did you use a tape?
What is that electrostatic sticker for?
For the rear camera
I guess it's to protect the rear heater lines in case you are forced to stick the camera onto them? I prefer not having to use it. I feel it can still come off fairly easily.@@tuyenkhoang

I would think you would want to plug everything in first to make everything is communicating.. Then follow along with how to install everything.

Idk of its my cars rear windshield but the angle the cameras at you cant see nothing but the sky. Not sure how to even fix that.

Amazon page for this product promises "easy installation", yet the video here (which the manual links to) shows a dude taking his car apart lmfao. So freaking deceptive. I'm not a car guy or handy in the slightest, so I'm sure this is trivial if you're not like me. But c'mon. On an Amazon product page easy installation means easy installation even for the dweebs like me.

I ordered two F7NP Dash Cams, with the 3M mount. What I got was 1 F7N with a suction cup mount in a bag that looks like someone else had returned it without bothering to even put it in a box!!! The Dash cam had NO screen or other protection, it was just thrown into the bag, shipped in a bag, and everything was just wadded up inside!!
