Hope Thinkware comes out with a new firmware for the U3000; the night time continuous recording with NV 4.0 enabled is just horrendous. Over exposed like mad. Meanwhile NV 4.0 shines during parking mode. This needs to be fixed!!!
Not sure how to answer this lol I made this short while I was out of town so it was a “quick and dirty” and pick a random song that was upbeat. Mario happen to fit the bill
Unless yours is broken there’s really no need to upgrade. I’m running the U1000 and Q800 Pro in my own cars with no issues. This is just what the owner bought.
Owner did not get the rear camera bundle. I probably would think about getting one on my cars after being rear ended. But the front dash cam did show we were sitting in a red light traffic.
I suggest hardwiring assuming you have the space to do it easily. I hardwired my car and haven’t had issues using fuse taps. My wife’s car uses the OBD2 port and I’ve noticed some odd behavior occasionally. It has to do with how the OBD2 powers up. For this video, it’s installed in a hybrid RAV4 and every time the door opens it activates.
Solid question: so for this model (U3000) or U1000 it would be impossible since the SD card slot is on the right side. If you wanted to remove it simply slide the dash cam off its mount. Although in the times I needed to review or pull footage I’ve just used the app.
Now can you please tell me how your airbag get deployed from piller A
Pass the wire behind the airbag, I tried to show that on the video 👍

Interesting, I’m going to ask my relative to send me some clips and I’ll compare it to my two older models.
what is the deal with the music?

Love that song.
UK Based here was quoted for labour only £95 + vat per hour he said it would take 3 hours so £342 wtf
3 hours definitely seems like a long time. I can’t see it taking longer than an hour and that’s including hardwiring it without any adapters. 🤷♂️
@@TheGarageDad Yeah deffo he was trying it on
and the rear cam>???

Do you recommend hardwire or using odb?

What is the black pads?
The black sticker is made to aid with overheating issues. My personal vehicles don’t have this.
The U3000 has been a disappointment to me.
Could you elaborate? I have older models on my cars. This one was for a relative.
Is it easy to insert/remove SD card when install it very close to the mirror?
