I hate it that the 1906 is such a beautiful gun, and so boderline useless.
5 bullets is a lot of bullets.

they need to do something with the weapons, every class has one good weapon and you have only 6 to choose from...
lambulis Nah, they are situational, most ot them are good weapons being used wrongly. Don't go clearing houses with a light machinegun. Don't go willy nilly on the plains with a shotgun.
a good way to balance this gun is by making the reload speed fast as hell.
yeah that's annoying tho cause people get used to reloading before they finish the clip and that fucks you up with this gun
Mustapha Depp just increase damage to 50% so it takes 2 bullets to kill some one that would be faire

They should increase the reload speed and increase the damage to the point where you can 2 hit body shot people up to maybe 20 meters and just overall have a damage model that helps the cause. There are so many other weapons that need help too.

to balance out this crap gun they should make it a 3 shot body shot, 1 shot headshot and reduce the stupidly long reload time.

If only the 1906 was 2 shot body and 1 shot head that would make it so much better. I got the 1906 thinking it was gonna be a semi martini only to find out it's 5 clip and the reload animation takes as long as a calf being born wtf
I find it easier to finish the magazine. Then it reloads the entire clip which is much faster than loading individual bullets.
That would make it by far the most ridiculously overpowered gun in the game though, unless you're talking nerfing it heavily in other areas to facilitate that damage model.
1 shot headshot on semi auto is too op. 2 shot up close and 3 at long range
Powerful weapon, but I can't stand the 5 round max capacity.
It seems to me that it's a lot more effective (in terms of reload speed) to empty the magazine than to reload after firing any more than one shot.

the m1916 does the same amount of damage but has 5x more bullets, the only advantage of the 1906 is slightly less recoil and a higher ROF
tim martin And according to symthic both guns have the same bullet velocity, the same bullet drop (which is determined by velocity), and the same damage dropoff.

They need to fix the battlepack system I haven't gotten a single one in 3 weeks

now that they introduced the micro-transactions for the battlepacks, expect it to stay that way. They intentionally make it hard to get to force you to buy them.
Just get in a server with no kicking for afk and let it sit and you will get battle packs
Matt, do you think they should add a lower gun on the Battleship Behemoth so it can shoot the boats in the water? Whenever im in the behemoth im constatnly being torpedoed and you cant shoot the little boats wedged up next to you.

trevor jaster Yes they can but they take forever and the boats can sit outside of the AA guns range and launch torpedoes at it.
His plane gunner crosshair is still there... My crosshair and hitmarkers are gone for the attack plane gunner... -__-

I think EA needs to give the 1906 a buff of 50 or 55 damage per shots in cqb, falling down starting from 10-12m to 40 damage per shots or so. This way, it would still be a 3-shot kill in mid to long range combat and be more effective if attacked in cqb. I think it would be a decent buff.

if people can't git gouda and need someone to help them with this Weapon, just increase the Range where Damage falloff starts.
so keeps close Range Damage model over a farther distance.

***** I've used it. I know how it works. If you are so concerned you can put the stats up.
So the Auto has worse bullet drop as it takes longer to get to a certain point.
The autoloading 8 .35 has by far the best TTK out to 45m, and you'll win any 1v1 with it up to this distance if you're any good. Neither the 1906 or the autoloading 8 are the 'worst' medic guns, you just need to be an accurate player and know how to manage engagements and reloads. Just a shame that there's no scoped version of the 1906.
Matt what do you think of the hacksaw ridge challenge where you play as a medic and try to reach the top of the leaderboard without using your gun and only reviving people? i think that would make a pretty good video.
+Matimi0 With the Selbstlader 1906 you may want to consider firing the last shot if you have already fired 4. The reload mechanism is so much faster for loading 5 than loading 4.
Speaking of random debris kills. Try getting a debris kill with a... gas grenade.
look at the thumb of the soldier as he reloads the 1906. you see it covering the ejection port and pushing the ammo back into the clip when the slider fully uncovers. gotta love the small details the devs put into the game

I feel like more guns unlocked after completing assignments should have more to them besides just a scope. The 1906 sniper should have a larger clip size and other features once you unlock it. Same goes for a lot of other guns.

the selected spawn not available bug is easy to fix every time it happens just switch to command and then to tthe target on which you tried to spawn
The Selbstlader 1906 is like an M1 Garand, a Luger P08 and a Gewehr 98 combined.

That's the only thing wrong with this game, people who play as a medic and have the chance to revive someone when they are 5 foot away but don't.

The French RSC M1917 also has five rounds. If they add it in the French DLC it had better have a two-shot kill, just as the Luger 1906 and Remington Model 8 .35 should.
Watching you continually keep 1 bullet in the gun and take the 1.5 second slower reload time and time again was one of the most frustrating things I've experienced in a while

I'm starting to love 1906. It does only have 5 rounds and can make you awkward dealing with multiple enemies. But at the same time this gun is turning you more into an opportunist than a semi-automatic spammer. Besieds, it has better control than Mondragon, more damage than rigotti, more firerate than M1916

I think the 1906 is just a high skill gun, if you can land those head shots at the correct distance you can drop like 2 enemy's and drop the last one with ur sidearm befor you have to reload
I think they can balance this to make 45 dmg in cq and 35 for mid ranges + faster reload and maybe better accuracy
Maybe DICE thought that they give players a weapon for medic rank 10 that requires more skill to see if the player does have proper rank 10 skill
